Watercolor Tags
This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and I have recently discovered that I like playing with watercolors. It is
fun and challenging. I have so much to learn and am actually taking a
couple of classes in using them. I am participating in a swap that requires watercolors, so I was excited to get started. Of course, lots of 3
Girl JAM goodies were the perfect compliment for all the watercolors.
Summer sprinkles and gorgeous 3GJ lace were perfect for this first tag. Other supplies will be listed below.
This tag was also made with gorgeous 3 Girl JAM lace, but the bold, bright colors called for bold ribbon colors, so I used Cherry Lipstick and Sunflower.
This final tag was made with more lace coupled with the Spooky bundle. The muted colors remind me of a flower peering through a storm.
Other supplies:
Strathmore watercolor paper
Fancy Pants "Lavender Leaves" paper
Tim Holtz Cargo Stencil
Studio Calico Huey's Mask
Art Philosophy Tag #3 cut at 6.25"
Artist's Loft Modeling Paste
Homemade glitter spray
Neocolor II watercolor crayon set
Distress Ink - Forest Moss, Pickled Raspberry, Salty Ocean, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers
Distress Markers - Mustard Seed, Dusty Concord
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Stampin' Up - foliage stamp
Sweet & Sassy "The Future" stamp set
Delta Gerbera Daisy stamp
Martha Stewart Butterfly punch
Recollections flowers and leaves
Prima flowers
ATG, Scor-Tape, Dimensional Glue Dots, Scotch Quick Dry Glue
Don't forget that the current "Spring Challenge" is nearing the end over on the challenge blog, so be sure to link up your projects. If you are interested in seeing the video for these tags, head on over to DJ's Sundries by clicking here.

Guest Designer Cara from A Lady and Her Crafts
Hello everyone. This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and I am so excited to be introducing this week's Guest Designer, Cara, from "A Lady and Her Crafts". I actually first found her on YouTube. She makes amazing videos and I have followed her on YouTube for a long time. You should really check her out on YouTube by clicking here. Her sparkling personality is paralleled with her amazing crafting ability. So without further ado...
In Cara's own words:
Here in Alaska the snow is finally starting to melt…things are starting to perk up and get green. I think that's why I was drawn to the beautiful green seam binding…I am so ready for SPRING! So the first thing I did was to alter the adorable muslin bags I received….here they are:
Here's a close up:
The supplies for this project were: seam binding and muslin bag (3 Girl Jam) sequins (Pretty Pink Posh), Jet Black Archival Ink (Ranger), Glossy Accents (Ranger), Love Deeply sentiment stamp from Group Hugs stamp set (Paper Smooches), Simplicity sentiment stamp from New Day stamp set (Precious Remembrance Shop), both dress stamps by Inkadinkado and Moon Shadow Mist (Lindy's Stamp Gang). Whew!
Next I made some thank you tags which included my first attempt at a shaker box.
Here they are:
And here's another close-up.
The supplies for this project were: green seam binding (love, love, love it) from (3 Girl Jam), Dear Lizzy Neapolitan pattern paper (American Crafts), sequins (Pretty Pink Posh), Love Quotes & Filigree stamp sets (Mama Elephant), Jet Black Archival Ink (Ranger), Foam Tape (Scotch), Wood Veneer Stars (Studio Calico) and various Copic markers.
I also posted a video to my YT channel (AKCaraboo) which shows not only these projects but the other goodies I received from 3 Girl Jam.
You can check out all the yummy goodies at 3 Girl Jam by clicking right here.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Happy Crafting!

I seriously love, love using the 3 Girl JAM beautiful lace. This one is from the 3 Girl JAM distressed lace package. I finished off the card with a teensy bow of Goblin Green from the Spooky Bundle tied (perfectly, if I do say so myself) with the 3 Girl JAM bow-maker! Do you have one of these bow-makers? Get one. The tool is small, so you can leave it out all the time (I do!)....and it makes a perfect bow.....every single time!
Don't forget you can use code KN10 to get 10% off your WHOLE order!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Stop by my blog for more details on this card.... :)

Burlap & Crinkle Ribbon Altered Mason Jar
Hi Friends! Abby here with ScrappinAbby and I have a fun and easy altered project to share with all of you using some of the FAB 3GJ Crinkle Ribbon .
I also have a video that shows you the project up close along with the crinkle ribbons I used on this project....
I made this for one of my sisters-in-law as a thank you gift for having us over for Easter dinner on Sunday. She loved it!!
Here are the crinkle ribbons I used for this altered jar....
Merlot from the Wine & Jewels Bundle
Antique White from the Pink & White Bundle
Halloween Harvest from the Seasons Bundle
Here are some additional photos of the altered mason jar....
I forgot to get a pic of Shelley with the jar when I gave it to her but she really loved it and said this was totally her style. Funny thing is that this jar was hers originally, she made us some homemade pickles for Christmas and this was the jar...haha. Just goes to show that you can use the 3GJ Crinkle Ribbon on home decor & gift items and altered projects as well : )
Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ Blog today and for checking out another ScrappinAbby post. Be sure to stop by my blog for a full product list and for more photos.
If you want to save 10% on your order...be sure to use the discount code AH10 when you check out : )

I'm also the proud owner of a very spoiled mini Dachshund, Bella My husband has been my Number One Fan and actually encouraged me to start this blog and my scrapbook webpage. I love making albums, board books, cards, layouts and much more which I will post on my blog. I love nothing more than creating a scrappy item and sharing it with family and friends. Please feel free to look around and check out all the fun projects I have created/designed and even those that are still a work in progress. Altered Composition Book
HAPPY MONDAY FRIENDS!
For my Designer Day with 3 Girl JAM, I used some Fabulous Tuxedo Black Crinkle Ribbon to add the extra "oomph" needed for my Altered Journal.
I altered a composition book in a Steampunk Style and all the details (along with a Step-by-Step Photo Tutorial) can be found on my Personal Blog at Jessica's Craft Shaque.
The current challenge at 3 Girl JAM 3GJ Challenge Blog is All Things Spring with Ribbon. Although this project isn't bright and cheery like you might imagine SPRING, it does have flower embellishments and of course, the yummy ribbon.

Lacy butterfly by Marji
This is one of those projects that worked out perfectly from start to finish!
No cutting issues and everything matches and I used papers from 2 different stacks.
I added the beautiful lace to the top then added a hologram sequin. I found them in the kid's craft section at Joann's, they are really neat.
I used my black gel pen to write and doodle and to also color the butterfly's body.

Guest Designer: Shannon Morgan
Hi There! Karen N from Craftily Yours giving an introduction to a super fantastic guest designer, Shannon Morgan. I've watched Shannon's work for some time now, and this girl does some Ah-Mazing layouts! This one is scrumptious. Check out Shannon!

Shannon Morgan here from Designs of a Paddymack. I'm a Great Lakes NerdGirl living in the South. I try to make the best of this even though I dearly miss actual seasons. I am a stay at home mom, and I have a great husband, Karl, who works really hard for me to be able to do so. I sacrifice my sanity caring for Patrick, my son, who is regularly deemed Mini-Belushi and Mackenzie, my daughter, who isn’t afraid to point out my dark under eye circles and if my hair looks bad. All in all they are wonderful children, who I love without limit. Rounding out the family in my house, are Cinna and Meg, two crazy Rhodesian Ridgebacks that make each day good. All of the mentioned above provides daily inspiration in my creative journey in this world. I have been scrapbooking in some form or fashion since Patrick’s birth. I spend a lot of time taking pictures of everyday things and documenting them. My children have grown used to me taking pictures of them constantly and in random places. I am a bit mist and doodling obsessed. I like to add dimension to her pages. Other likes and/or obsessions are: caffeine, owls, foxes, music, tattoos, cartoons, Bill Murray, the color mint, the color robin egg blue, polka dots and reading. I have been blessed with great support and opportunities in this industry, and everyday that I inspire someone to try something new, is success.

Thank YOU, Shannon, for inspiring all of us to create something Spring like (and LINK it up at 3 Girl JAM Challenges. What a GORGEOUS lay-out! So glad you are obsessed with mists!!

Shadow Box
Hi friends Madge from Madge's Scrappin Lounge! Happy Wednesday! I am happy to share this great shadow box with you today! It is my day to be the featured designer for 3 Girl JAM! Today I have this fun shadow box that was featured on HSN for National Craft Day with DoCrafts. I used DoCrafts great product line called Art Deco. You may not be able to see this up close, however there are several layers to each piece. For example the top right, her dress has a layer that has been pop dotted up to bring dimension. Each square has one or two pieces that are this way! But let's just say this what project is complete without a little yummy 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon??
The Shadow box is below
(I imagine if I was born in this era than this for sure would be Me and Midge LOL...)
Here are the products that were used
Be sure to come back tomorrow for some more fabulous inspiration!!
