Back to school with Marji

I created a couple of bookmarks using free files from Little Scraps of Heaven designs, then used my 3 Girl Jam ribbons to created pom poms for them instead of tassels.
Love them!!
I've made quite a few of these pencil cups, it utilizes the end of the roll from duct tape.  When I first started making duct tape wallets I hated to throw the roll away when it got to the end, the tape is so pretty, it seemed such a waste, so I knew I'd find something to do with them eventually and saved them all.
All you do is either tape or glue 2 together then I create a tape sheet for the bottom and tape it in place inside on the bottom.  For this one I used the pretty die cut lace to hide the seam.

This month the special ribbon is

Caribbean Splash

Owl ornament by Marji

Image of Winter BundleImage of *New* Holiday Trim
I love making ornaments for my tree, This owl is my own design using different ideas I've seen all around.
I filled my ornament with floor wax then added glitter, once it dried I used hot glue to add the bottle caps and "beak"  For the pupils and highlights, I used sequins I adhered with crystal effects.
I used the green and red trim to add a cute tie to the top then used my gorgeous Holly Berry ribbon for the hanger.

I used the bright lime green and Holly ribbons, my lighting is a little funny, but these are the colors I used.
How fun is this super simple card?  The bow makes it fabulous I think, I love the bright colors.

My bow maker made the perfect double bow, so scrumptious!!

I love my easel cards, for this one, I glued the majority of the heart down and used a foam dot at the top so it will hold the card in place.
I added some crystal effects to the red hearts for some shine and keeping it simple still.

Guest Designer: Migdalia

I am SO excited today to be introducing 3 Girl JAM guest designer, Migdalia from Crafting with Creative M!  I was super lucky enough to serve on a design team with Migdalia and am totally smitten with her style!  You are going to LOVE, love her project!  I know I do!
****

Good Morning to all my bloggie friends!
Today I am super excited to be a Guest Designer at 3 Girl JAM! Yippee!! Thanks Julie & Karen. Their theme is "Anything Goes" so I created this adorable set for my friend Baylee.  I altered the front cover of a notepad with modge podge and a Hello Kitty pattern paper. I used the Hello Kitty Nerdy SVG image and stamped "hello" on her shirt. The Gorgeous Crinkle Ribbons used on my project was that I won it in a challenge over at 3 Girl JAM. !! Thanks again.
ENJOY!

I adhered the "Holly Berry" Crinkle Ribbon to the bottom portion of the notepad with my ATG gun. I then placed a handmade flower (made by me) with the Gorgeous Crinkle Ribbon.

I cut strips of the "Holly Berry, Tuxedo, & Dress White Crinkle Ribbon and tied them to the top portion of the Notepad for a touch of cuteness....

A glittered pencil with the "Holly Berry" Crinkle Ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget that the 3 Girl JAM "Anything Goes" challenge is still going on and that there is still time to enter your project.
Feel free to stop by my BLOG and thanks for visiting 3 Girl JAM today!!

Special thanks from 3 Girl JAM to Migdalia for inspiring us with this FABULOUS project!

Hello Kitty is in the 3 Girl JAM House Today!

Hey there Blends and 3 Girl JAMmers
DT Jessica B with you Today
to share a
fun and easy
Hair Accessory that you can "Whip Up" in No Time!
My 5 year old, Ariana, is such a Girly Girl. When I asked her if she would like me to make her her a fun Hello Kitty Hair Tie to match her new Hello Kitty tennis shoes, she was thrilled.
I started with a Hello Kitty 1.5" Fabric Covered Button  from the Pinque Peacock Shop.
(If you would like to check out the entire selection of 1.5" Fabric Buttons available at Pinque Peacock CLICK HERE)
Next, I grabbed my FANTASTIC 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon in colors that coordinated with the Image on the Button: Cherry Lipstick Tuxedo Black Dress White Holly Berry and Baby Girl
I decided the eyelet back would serve as an excellent anchor to feed my ribbon through. I fed the ribbon through the eyelet one at a time to prevent from causing it to bunch up or get frayed.
as well as help secure the rubber band towards the end of the project.
Once those were in place,
I added some fun accent beads
and metal spacers
to the ends of the ribbon
for a little extra GIRLY PIZAZZ!!!!
I simply tied a knot to hold the beads onto the ribbon ends.
(Notice the colors of Ariana's outfit....LOL...she LOVES pink)
A great way to
give your little diva
a Smile that will Last All Day
(and Days to Come)

Thanks for Stopping In Today

Stop by 3 Girl JAM to shop around and place an order for this Beautiful Ribbon! There are limitless options for using it in your projects and in many cases, The Crinkle Ribbon will LEND YOU THE MOJO (as it did here today)
