Valentine's Treat Bags

Hi Friends! Abby here with ScrappinAbby and today I have a super cute Valentine's project to share with all of you using some of the FAB Crinkle Ribbon and Lace from 3GJ.

I made some fun treat sacks using some glassine bags and pulled from a few different crinkle ribbon bundles and some distress lace.

I also have a short video that shows you the project up close along with the 3GJ goodies I used....

Now for some additional pics....

These are such a quick and easy project to make that would be perfect to tuck a gift card or some sweet treats in for your sweetheart or just some close friends. Plus they're adorable (I think so anyway..lol).

Be sure to stop by the 3 Girl JAM Store and pick up some of the fabulous Crinkle Ribbons and laces for your Valentine's projects. Also, use Discount Code: AH10 to get 10% off of your total order.

Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ blog today and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project.

Happy Craftin!!!

Light and bright lace

I have 2 cards to share with you today showing off the gorgeous dyed lace.
In this card it's more subtle, I used it as a background to add some texture.

This card It's the focal point.  I used glue dots to adhere the lace to the card then tied a bow and added it to the top.  This way the lace on the card stays flat.

I used the wider piece as my border strip to peak on the front.
I love the look of this, perfection.

More Manly Valentine

Just look what Jute Ribbon from 3 Girl JAM can do for your valentine for your man.  It puts a rough texture onto your card..while still keeping your style sweet and lovely!

The Merlot colored Jute Ribbon works well with my choice of patterned papers.
In fact, the papers day it all!

I added silver cord to my button.
But the ends are tucked in back and held down with a Craft Glue Dot.  This keeps my layout looking stream lined and clean.

Thanks so much for joining us today!
What manly valentine projects do you have up your sleeve?
We'd love to hear!!

Lace Butterfly card

Hi! Raechelle here sharing my first project as a 3 Girl JAM designer.

I used the beautiful blue lace ribbon from the lovely Distressed Lace set to create the butterflies and added bows on the buttons using some silver cord from the Holiday Trim pack

here is a more detailed view:

to make the butterflies: cut two sections from the lace trim as shown, gather together in center and stitch to create a bow effect. Cover with a button or other embellishment.
