Just Because
Hi Friends! Abby here with ScrappinAbby and today I'll be sharing an altered Muslin Bagthat I made for a special friend of mine.
3 Girl JAM products you'll see on this project...
I also have a video that shows you the project up close along with the FAB 3GJ products that I used...
5x7 Muslin Bag
Distressed Lace
Caribbean Splash (Aqua Splash)
Spring Flowers Bundle (Daffodil)
Now for the altered muslin bag....
I wanted to create a unique & pretty bag that I'm using for a RAK for a good friend of mine. The muslin bags are so fun to alter and they "play nice" with sprays and other mediums. I created a flower using the Distress lace and added bits of the crinkle ribbon around my flower cluster.
I can't wait to send this to my friend and I'm hoping she will love the bag as much as the goodies that are going inside. If you haven't played with the muslin bags from 3GJ, be sure to head to the 3GJ Shop and pick some up. While you're there be sure to grab some crinkle ribbon and Distress Lace as well.
Do you want to save 10% on your total order??? Of course you do, so make sure you enter Discount Code:AH10 when you check out.
Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ blog today and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project.
Happy Crafting!!

At the bottom corner of my card I attached a flower that I made with some 3GJ "distressed lace" and glued a 3GJ vintage button in the center of it.

Stunning beauty by Marji
Hello there, I'm using an embossing folder I got from Pinque Peacock, along with one of her beaded stick pins and a glorious splendid swirl she made with 3 Girl Jam ribbon.
I then ran a line of hot glue and pleated my ribbon along the side of the card.
Gorgeous?
I can't take full credit for this idea, my mom showed me a card she made using the glitter card stock and an embossing folder. I will for sure be making more like this, so very pretty!

Mixed Media Tag - Calm
Good morning everyone. This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and I know that I have been talking about "calm" all year, but this month has shown that I need calm even more. Why? Because I'm heading back to school. I began to make plans to return to school last February, but after looking into 3 different programs, those plans just weren't working out. After much thought and prayer, I decided now was not the right time. I then added a new project to my plate and decided I needed to organize everything to be ready to go to school next spring.
Imagine my surprise when I ran across an unopened letter on July 4 announcing that I had been accepted into the program that I had been previously denied. I just need to be ready to start on August 22, the same day we begin our journey across the country to take our daughter to college. Exciting? Yes! Feeling the need for calm? Definitely!!!
Here's what I needed: 3 Girl JAM ribbon - Cherry Lipstick, Ice Blue, and Aqua Splash
Of course, there were several other items that I needed as well:
CTMH - Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge
American Crafts glitter tape
Tim Holtz memo pins
Pink and Teal paper
Chipboard
Sweet & Sassy stamps - "The Future"
Strathmore cold press watercolor paper
Avery Jewelry and Small tags
Distress Inks - Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry, Salty Ocean
Zig Pen - Pure Pink
Simon Says Stamp - Butterfly Drift
Tombow glue pen
Heidi Swapp Mask
I learned a great technique that I used to create the background paper. There is a link to my inspiration that you can see at DJ's Sundries by clicking here. Pairing this technique with the gorgeous 3 Girl JAM ribbon made a beautiful, vibrant tag. I really think this is my favorite in the series.
Unfortunately, in an attempt to restore "calm", it is time to say goodbye to the 3 Girl JAM design team (at least for now). I want to thank Julie for allowing me to be part of this fabulous team. I am also so thankful for my talented DT sisters. You are all amazing and I am thankful for the opportunity to share this experience with you. I will miss being part of this group.

Make a Wish
Nicole here today, and I have a birthday card to share with you. I never seem to have enough birthday cards on hand so I am on a mission to create and stock up on some birthday cards. I also am slowly adding to my alcohol marker collection and challenging myself to use them more often so that I can grow in my skills. With all that said, here is my card -
The pink ribbon from the 3 Girl JAM "Ribbon Candy" bundle goes perfectly with the colors of my card. For more details on my card, please visit my BLOG. My card also fits into this month's 3GJ challenge, "food or food-related with ribbon". Don't forget to link your projects up at the 3GJ challenge blog - you might be the lucky winner of a gift certificate to the 3 Girl JAM store!! Thanks for stopping by today!!

Elegant butterfly by Marji
This is a file I found on the SIL site. I used papers from CTMH. I really love the new tie died ribbons, so bright and so pretty. I know it's not a perfect match but I like the contrast it adds to the card.
I used foam tape between each layer of the butterflies wings to keep them separated.
I used my bow maker to create the tiny bow for the butterfly, that is the best tool, if you don't have one yet, click below and GET ONE!

Berry Best Wishes
Hello, and happy Friday! Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers. It's still strawberry season here where I live, and there's a food-related challenge going on over at the 3 Girl JAM Challenge blog. Put those 2 things together, and I can't help but think "berry". Strawberries were definitely the inspiration behind today's food-related card:
The strawberry trio card is a cutting file from The Cutting Cafe. I used papers from Basic Grey (PB&J designer paper) and Close To My Heart (cardstock). The sentiment is a retired stamp from Close To My Heart. The splash of red ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM. Isn't it yummy? It's from the Red, White, and Blue Bundle. The red in this bundle is a true red, and I just love it! I topped the double bow off with a button by Basic Grey.
Want some of that purdy red ribbon for yourself? Use discount code JO10 for a 10% discount on your entire order.
Come join our food-related challenge. You know you'll have fun!

Summer Lovin' with Jute Ribbon
Hello Crafty Friends,
This is Georgiana from Carson's Creations and today is my day to share. I sure do love to share! I am using another popular product from the 3 Girl JAM shop.
Here is my Design Team project...
I am loving the nautical theme right now and with this hot summer weather I have been daydreaming about being out on sailboat just relaxing. How about you?
I was SUPER excited to create this card since I actually welded the base on my Cameo (not sure why it took so long to try since it was extremely easy!). The sailboat was cut from the Nautical Boy file at KaDoodle Bug Design and the cute sun is from Miss Kate Cuttables. The yellow skittles are by fellow design team sister, Carri. Background paper is from Cape Cod stack by Paper Studio. The sentiment is from Craftin' Desert Diva's Summer Lovin' stamp set.
I used the cream jute ribbon.
It is currently on sale for $4.97...be sure to use code GC10 for a discount.
Don't forget about our monthly challenge...

June 28th - August 1st
Prize: $15 Gift Certificate to 3 Girl JAM store
