I'm So Proud Of You Card

Hi Friends! Abby here with ScrappinAbby and I'm happy to share a card I created for a good friend of mine using some of the yummy Crinkle Ribbon from 3 Girl JAM .
I wanted to play around with different patterns and colors on this card so I used 4 different papers and 3 Crinkle Ribbons from 3 different bundles. I really like how it turned out : )

Here's a short video that shows you the card up close along with the crinkle ribbons I used...

Some additional photos....
I love how the Hot Chocolate from the Hot & Cold Bundle and the Aqua Splash from the Caribbean Splash Bundle crinkle ribbons work so well together.
I wanted to continue the mix of patterned paper on the inside as well so I did a collage type layer and topped it off with more of the yummy 3GJ crinkle ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed my project today and I encourage you to mix up the different crinkle ribbons from the many bundles you have to choose from.

Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ blog and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project.

Happy Crafting!!

Happy Monday 3 Girl JAM friends!

This is Kendra from Luv 2 Scrap N' Make Cards, to share a fun card with you!

I needed a quick "Thank You" card to give to my mom, so I thought it would be fun to use my favorite crochet trim and Crinkle Ribbon together!!

I really enjoy using my Crinkle Ribbon to entwine it in this trim.  I love the finished look!

For this card I used Cherry Lipstick!
I used the wonderful 3GJ Bow Maker to create my perfect bow!!

Isn't it a lovely touch?!

------

A look at the process; simple and so fun:
I like to cut the ribbon I am threading through the trim a little bit longer.

Start threading the Crinkle Ribbon through the trim.

Once completed this is what it should look like:

Altered Cigar Style Box

Vintage styled altered crafts are so incredibly fun to make that I had to share one with you.  This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and I am participating in an altered cigar style box swap.  I must admit that I had so much fun with this one that I plan to make more in the future.

I had some paper from the ancestry.com line by K&Company that was perfect for a vintage style box.  There are a few 3 Girl JAM ribbons that coordinate perfectly with these papers.  I decided to use Coral Crush from the Caribbean Splash bundle and Cream from the Coffee bundle to accent these great papers.  There were a lot of other supplies that were needed for this project including some pretty lace, a bit of bling and more.  Please head over to DJ's Sundries for a list of the supplies that were used.  You might even enjoy the video that is linked over there.

Have a great day and remember to take some time to enjoy the little things.

Hi everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations.  Today I am here to share my altered journal.  I started with a blank Fancy Pants journal.  I covered it with Teresa Collins paper.  The ribbon I layered on the side features 3GJ Crinkle ribbon in Coral Crush from the Caribbean Splash collection.

I hand pleated the ribbon and tied a multi-layered bow with the 3GJ Bow Maker.
If you want more details or pictures please feel free to stop by my personal blog at 217 Creations.  Thank you for taking the time to subscribe and comment here at 3 Girl JAM.

So sorry for you loss

Hello everyone, Jovan here from Cards by Jovan. It feels so GOOD to be back!!!!! I have had a very busy summer!  This is my first time in a long time posting and making a card.  I feel a little rusty...LOL!

For the card today I used Gold Crown from the Royal bundle to make a flower and Goblin Green from the Spooky bundle for the leaves.  The papers are from Lemon Flower DCWV mat stack.  I added some bling to finish the card.

So Many Thanks on Thursday!

Happy Thursday, 3 Girl JAM fans!  Julie O here from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers with a thank you card to inspire you. I recently received a beautiful quilt as a thank you from a couple former family members in our nursing home.  In return for this overwhelming gift, I wanted to make them a card showing them how special their gift was to me.  Here's what I created:

I used crinkle ribbon from the Spooky Bundle, pleating it as I went, then tying it in a double bow.  It is so easy to do this technique with this ribbon.  Here's a close up of the bow...

To find out more details about this card, including how I made the shape, and where I got those fantastic stick pins, please visit my blog!

Live Life With No Regrets Altered Bottle Cap

Hi Friends! Abby here with ScrappinAbby and I'm excited to be sharing another project with you here on the 3 Girl JAM Blog. I altered a bottle cap and created a piece of wall art for my craft room....
For this altered bottle cap, I used the Purple Passion from the Royal Bundle and some of the Antique White from the Pink & White bundle. These are some of my favorite colors from 3GJ.

Here's a quick video to show you the project up close along with the yummy crinkle ribbon I used...
I love how this turned out. I used some of the Purple Passion on the back to create a hanger for the bottle cap so I have the option to hang it if I chose or I can simply display it as I have above. I forgot to take a pic of that but you can see it in the video : )

I have to tell you I love coming up with different ways to use the 3GJ Crinkle Ribbon and I hope I was able to inspire you to try it out on an altered item as well.

Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ blog and happy craftin!!

Stickpins & Pinwheels

Happy 4th of July.  This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and I am so thankful to live in this great country.  I trust that everyone will have a great and safe time celebrating our country's birthday.  I think that crafting for the 4th of July is so much fun and I wanted to share this little craft with you today.

I enjoy participating in swaps.  One of my favorite items to swap is stick pins because they are so pretty.  The current swap that I am participating in is a red, white, and blue swap.  The stick pins have to be in a holder of some kind.  As I was playing on Pinterest recently, I ran across these pinwheel hair clips.  I decided that they would make a perfect holder for this month's stick pins once I modified them to fit my needs.  That's right - 2 fun gifts in 1.

You will need:
3Girl JAM Red, White, and Blue bundle found here
red, white and blue felt - cut into 4" squares
Buttons
Adhesive or thread to make pinwheels (I used E600 and thread)
Hair clips or barretts
Stick Pins (if you want to use this as a dual purpose project)

I am unsure of the measurement or the instructions for the pinwheels that I found on Pinterest.  However, 4 inches made the perfect little holders for me.  They also used little painted wooden stars in place of the button and ribbon centers.

Please head over to DJ's Sundries by clicking here to find the full tutorial on how I made these pretty holders.  Thanks for stopping by and remember to take some time to enjoy the little things.

~ ~ ~ Faithful Friend Tag ~ ~ ~

Hey there Blends and 3 Girl JAMmers

Today, I am posting a quick tag project.

I used a Kraft Tag that I inked with some TH Vintage Photo around the edges.
I cut a layer of BoBunny Garden Girl pattern paper to give my tag a vibrant color palette.
The hardest part of making this tag was deciding which fantastic color of 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon to use because I could have chosen so many.

Well, I narrowed it down to the Coral Crush (as the main color of ribbon) and some "tails" at the top of my tag using Witch's Brew, Goblin Green, and the Coral Crush....

The sentiment was stamped on some scrap paper (green floral) using a SU Sentiment in the World Treasures set.

Thanks for Stopping In Today
