Who is baking today??

I should be...
but instead, I have baked up this tasty card featuring Red Crinkle Ribbon from

I love the flirty, fresh look of these ribbons!
And even better, in my cleaning/organizing last week, I found this piece of red that had been mixed up in a different storage bin. Score!

Now, I"m off for one last trip to the store for fresh fruits and veggies...
and then, the count down till 27 family members arrive starts!
So much to do, so little time to do it.
Be sure to take a 5 minute breather and check out my blog,

Hip in Denim

Schools acros the nation are starting up.
Here in Michigan,
school resumes the day after Labor Day!
Here's a snazzy pick me up...
regardless if it the first day of school or the 14th day of school.
Treat the teenager in your life with a pocket of fun!

First, find an old pair of jeans and cut out one of the back pockets.
Trim up the edges. If you want to keep the edges neat, apply some fray check.

Create a crinkle bow using your teen's favorite color.
I added a courderoy brad to embellish the center.
Craft Glue Dots ® were used to adhere this embellishment to the pocket.

Next, fill up the pocket with fun school supplies, gum, and candies that your teen enjoys.
You might even tuck an encouraging note!

Here I used the white striped crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM "Red, White, & Blue Bundle."

Thanks for taking a reading break and checking out the company blog today.

Birthday Wishes

Hello, fellow ribbon lovers. Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky FingersIt's always great fun to make something where I can showcase my favorite ribbons, lace, or jute products.  Today, it's all about crinkle ribbon.

I've been participating in The Outlawz Progressive Challenge each month this year.  I used the delightful free image sent me for today's card. This image is by Make It Crafty.

She's called "Wishful Asha," and I colored her with Copic markers. The card and sentiment tag were cut out on my Cricut Explore, using papers from Close To My Heart.  I wanted the image to really pop.  That's where the 3 Girl JAM ribbon came into play.  I used the blue from the Red, White, and Blue Bundle and, with 2-sided tape behind my image, pleated the ribbon all the way around the square to frame  it.  Last, but not least, there are 3 enamel dots from my stash.

There will be a new challenge starting Saturday on the 3 Girl JAM Challenge blog.  Stop by to check it out.

Do you want to buy some fantastic ribbon for yourself?  Use discount code JO10 at checkout for 10% off your entire order. Use code AUGUST to get the Caribbean Splash bundle for $1 with any purchase for a few more days. There will be a new special of the month starting September 1.  Check this blog for details!  Whoop!

Bring Your Own Sunshine

Hello, crafty friends!  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky FingersSince it's so near Independence Day here in the U.S.A., I wanted a patriotic feel to my card.

The butterfly is a digi image from Morgan Fitzsimons.  I colored the digi with Copic markers, and fussy cut it.  The sentiment is from Close To My Heart.  I found the card kit in the Silhouette Online Store.  The designer paper is from Basic Grey.  Card stock is CTMH.

The pretty crinkle ribbon?  The stuff that ties the whole card together?  That's 3 Girl JAM, of course!  It's from the Red, White, and Blue Bundle.

Red, White, and Blue Bundle with Flair

Hello Everyone!

Welcome back and thanks for stopping by! This is Georgiana from Carson's Creations and today is my day to share

Here is my Design Team project...
A couple of cards with a washi tape background inspired by Stacey.
The crinkle ribbon is from the Red, White, & Blue Bundle and a flair was glued to the center. The stamp is by Hampton Art.

A second one with different washi tape and a stamp from the same set. I actually did the doodling around the rectangle. I am pleased with the results considering it was the first time using it as part of the focal point.

A felt butterfly and a trail of black gems.
Other Materials:
white, black, and silver card stock
Blue glitter card stock
Martha Stewart ebony pen
Versafine Onyx Black ink

Not so...Red, White, & Blue

Hi Creative Peeps!  Today I decided to use crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM's
But...nothing patriotic or summery!

I also wanted to create something using a fancy fold..but quickly.  I love this "piano hinge fold," as I like to call it.  After scoring your card as usual, make another score line on the top of the card front...about an inch down.

Use 3Girl JAM's crinkle ribbon...or jute string...to bind your card together. Punch 2 holes through your card in this top area...then thread your desired ribbon through. Finish it off with a bow...or a knot!

A dainty fox is so happy with her splash of red crinkle ribbon!
It plays well with the red washi tape!

Here is a piano hinge fold on the side, instead of the top.
How do you like red, white, & blue..and a bit of pink!
A nice change from summer and patriotism, don't you think!

Thanks so much for stopping in and checking out
the 3 Girl JAM blog today.  For more inspiration,
please parade over to my personal blog, Sunnyside Up!

Happy Earth Day!

Hello!

Chriss here from Scrappin' With Chriss & Lou, today is my day here on 3GirlJam.

I have quite a project to show you today.  I worked on it for quite awhile.  I have some pill bottles that my husband & I take pills from every day.  I had them sitting on my corner table but I did not want them in view of company that came to visit so I made this box.

On the front of the box, I used the gold jute from the Jute Ribbon & String Pack.

On top, the flowers are made from the Red, White & Blue Bundle which I think is perfect for anything nautical.   The buttons have string in them from the Jute & String bundle.  In honor of Earth Day, I used the packaging from some oranges to make a "nautical fence".

Don't forget that you can pick up this months featured bundle, the Spring Flowers for just $1 with any purchase from the 3 Girl Jam store

If you would like to see more close-up pictures of this project and the inside of the box, please stop by my blog.  Thank you so much for visiting me here!

Hugs,

Chriss

Berry Best Wishes

Hello, and happy Friday!  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.  It's still strawberry season here where I live, and there's a food-related challenge going on over at the 3 Girl JAM Challenge blog. Put those 2 things together, and I can't help but think "berry".  Strawberries were definitely the inspiration behind today's food-related card:

The strawberry trio card is a cutting file from The Cutting Cafe.  I used papers from Basic Grey (PB&J designer paper) and Close To My Heart (cardstock).  The sentiment is a retired stamp from Close To My Heart. The splash of red ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.  Isn't it yummy?  It's from the Red, White, and Blue Bundle.  The red in this bundle is a true red, and I just love it!  I topped the double bow off with a button by Basic Grey.
Want some of that purdy red ribbon for yourself?  Use discount code JO10 for a 10% discount on your entire order.
Come join our food-related challenge.  You know you'll have fun!
