Thanks Snow Much!

This is Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers, with my final post for 3 Girl JAM.  It has been a glorious ride, full of learning, friendships, and lots and lots of crinkle ribbon!  It is with heartfelt thankfulness to Julie, owner of 3 Girl JAM,  that I write this final post.

I am sharing a card today, using some of my favorites --

The image on this card is from PPinky Dolls Art.  I colored her with Lyra Rembrandt  Polycolor Pencils on Kraft paper.  Designer papers are from DCWV. The sentiment is computer generated.

The rich, cocoa brown ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM, of course!  It's the Hot Chocolate ribbon from the Hot & Cold Bundle.   To give it just a bit more sparkle, I added a bow of Silver Cord from the Holiday Trim Bundle.

Be watching the 3 Girl JAM Facebook page to hear about some upcoming specials that you won't want to miss!

I promised to announce the winner of the 3 Girl JAM ribbon bundles from Emily's 16th Birthday Blog Hop today.  Chosen by Random.org, the winner is Sunshine Honeybee!  Congratulations!

Let It Snow!

Winter greetings, fellow ribbon lovers!  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.   Christmas is getting ever closer!  I mailed my cards several weeks ago, but am still creating for friends and family at near me.

I love the way ribbons can layer together, and that's what I did on this card.

The image is from Lacy Sunshine.  She's called, "Rory's Snowglobe".  I colored her with Copic markers.  I used a Spellbinders die, cutting the same size out twice to back and highlight the colored image.

Papers are from Close To My Heart.  The sentiment is a stamp from The Cutting Cafe. The crinkle ribbon and jute ribbon are both from 3 Girl JAM.  The cream crinkle ribbon is from the Coffee Bundle.  The Jute Ribbon is part of the Jute Ribbon and String Pack

This month's "Colors of the Season plus Ribbon" challenge is going on at the 3 Girl JAM Challenge blog.  Please join us!

It's Christmastime -- and a winner

Christmas greeting, 3 Girl JAM friends!  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers

I have a card to share today.  I love the texture that the Jute Ribbon & String Bundle adds to projects.   It's great for building texture into a card:

This adorable image, by Lacy Sunshine,  was colored with Copic markers.  I used a Spellbinders die, cut once with some red glitter paper (by Close To My Heart), to back the image.  Papers are from October Afternoon.  The jute ribbon, from 3 Girl JAM, adds the perfect touch!

Now, for the winner of the 3 Girl JAM Ribbon bundle of your choice!  I used Random.org to choose from the 24 comments on my blog from the "We Love Our Fans" 3 Girl JAM blog hop.  The winner is>>>>

Susan Kennedy!  (Scrap a Thousand Words)

Congratulations, Susan!  Contact me with your mailing address and ribbon bundle choice and I'll get it mailed out to you.

Be Thankful

Hello, fellow crafters.  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.   Each year, at Thanksgiving, we exchange gifts with my husband's family.  Usually I make Christmas ornaments.  This year, I decided to make thankful boxes instead...

This box is 4x4x2, and will hold chocolate, nuts, socks, or a gift card perfectly.  I cut the box out on my Silhouette Cameo, wrapped some twine around it, and finished it off with a pretty bow of 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon.   This ribbon is Charcoal, from the Rustic Country Bundle

Don't forget about the 3 Girl JAM "We Love Our Fans" Blog hop this weekend!  It starts on Saturday.  There'll be prizes and great inspiration!

If you'd like to buy some 3 Girl JAM supplies of your own, please use discount code JO10 for 10% off of anything in the store!

Don't forget about the 3 Girl JAM Anything Goes with Ribbon challenge going on the rest of the month.

This adorable Autumn Elf is by Julia Spiri. I colored him with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils, then used a couple Spellbinders dies to back him with.  The beautiful Jute Ribbon, that adds texture and so much Fall feeling to this card, can be found at the 3 Girl JAM Store

Boo? A Gift Bag

Hello, crafty friends.  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers

Halloween is soon upon, and I like to give little treats to my many friends in the nursing home.  This treat bag will be perfect for that!

I used one of my favorite year-round 3 Girl JAM ribbons on this bag.  It's Goblin Green ribbon from the Spooky Bundle.  I use the Witch's Brew and Goblin Green ribbon colors ALL the time.  Love them!

The Goblin Green ribbon matches the hair of Kenna - Wicked Witch from Lacy Sunshine.  Nice, huh?  Kenna is colored with Copic markers.

The treat bag and papers for this project are from Close To My Heart.  The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company.

If you need some of this great ribbon for yourself, use discount code JO10 for 10% off of anything in the 3 Girl JAM Store

You still have time to enter the current challenge -- Anything Goes with Ribbon --  at the 3 Girl JAM Challenge.

Fall and Ribbons

Happy Thursday, fellow crafters!  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.   Is it beginning to look and feel like Fall where you live?  Our leaves are definitely turning, and we've had frost several times now.  Fall is here!  I made a card to celebrate the wonderful colors of Fall.  Earth tones are my favorite!

I used a printable set from The Cutting Cafe. Once my focal point was created, I used double sided tape,  and layered the 3 Girl JAM ribbons around the sentiment.  I used ribbons from the Rustic Country Bundle and the Harvest Bundle.

Are you in need of crinkle ribbon, and other luscious supplies, of your own?  Use discount code JO10 for 10% off of anything in the 3 Girl JAM Store!

The Frugal Ribbonista

Greetings, fellow ribbon lovers.  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky FingersAre you as frugal as I am, saving scraps of paper and ribbon because they're too pretty to throw out? With ribbon, if it's an inch or less, I'm able to trash it, but longer than that, and I feel the need to keep it "just in case."  I have a project today that uses up scraps of ribbon.  I don't know about you, but it makes ME happy to find a home for some of those short ribbon pieces I've been hoarding :)

I found this tote bag cutting file in the Silhouette Design store.  It was perfect for what I was looking for.  I used some double sided paper and set about cutting and creating my tote bag.  To decorate the bag even more than that pretty butterfly, I tied some short pieces of 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon to both handles of the tote.  One piece was a bit longer, so I used that one to tie both handles together, and to make a bow.

Scraps of 3 Girl JAM ribbon, prettily decorating this bag.  Ah yes, it makes me very happy!

Ribbons used:  Sterling from the Celebrations Bundle and Peach and Mint from the Tie Dye 3 Bundle.

Tired of using your scraps? Need some of this wonderful ribbon, and other great 3 Girl JAM products for yourself? Use discount code JO10 for 10% off your entire order.  Or, take advantage of this month's ribbon special, getting the Bundle of the month for just $1 with purchase.

Ribbon Weaving

Hello, fellow ribbon lovers.  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky FingersI'm trying a technique today that I've been wanting to try for a long time -- ribbon weaving.  What do you think?

I cut the paper border that the ribbon is woven through out on my Silhouette.  The design is found in the Silhouette Design Store.

Since school recently started here where I live, I made this Back-to-school card for a young girl who spent her summer volunteering at the nursing home where I work.  The image is from Lacy Sunshine

The rustic colored crinkle ribbon, from 3 Girl JAM, is Barn Door, from the Rustic Country Bundle

Birthday Wishes

Hello, fellow ribbon lovers. Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky FingersIt's always great fun to make something where I can showcase my favorite ribbons, lace, or jute products.  Today, it's all about crinkle ribbon.

I've been participating in The Outlawz Progressive Challenge each month this year.  I used the delightful free image sent me for today's card. This image is by Make It Crafty.

She's called "Wishful Asha," and I colored her with Copic markers. The card and sentiment tag were cut out on my Cricut Explore, using papers from Close To My Heart.  I wanted the image to really pop.  That's where the 3 Girl JAM ribbon came into play.  I used the blue from the Red, White, and Blue Bundle and, with 2-sided tape behind my image, pleated the ribbon all the way around the square to frame  it.  Last, but not least, there are 3 enamel dots from my stash.

There will be a new challenge starting Saturday on the 3 Girl JAM Challenge blog.  Stop by to check it out.

Do you want to buy some fantastic ribbon for yourself?  Use discount code JO10 at checkout for 10% off your entire order. Use code AUGUST to get the Caribbean Splash bundle for $1 with any purchase for a few more days. There will be a new special of the month starting September 1.  Check this blog for details!  Whoop!

Ballerina Hugs

Welcome, crafty friends!  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers, posting for my favorite ribbon company in the whole world!

I recently discovered a new digi stamp artist, Julia Spiri. I used the digi stamp, Little Ballerina, and colored her with Copic markers.  I used cutting dies by Die-namics and Paper Wishes.

The tie dye ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.  This is Tie Dye Green from the original Tie Dye Bundle.  I enjoy pleating it the length of a card, using double sided tape.

There's a special this month at 3 Girl JAM.  You can grab the Caribbean Splash Bundle for only $1 with purchase of any other item using code August.  Or, for 10% off of your entire order, use discount code JO10.

Fireflies in a Jar

Happy Thursday, everyone!  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.  It seems that I can always find another use for 3 Girl JAM products.  The possibilities are truly endless!  Today, my favorite ribbon is mimicking a rusty canning lid.

Summer and fireflies go hand-in-hand for me.  Seeing fireflies makes me happy!  When I was young, my grandma wouldn't let us go barefoot until we had seen a firefly, so we looked diligently for them.  She knew they didn't come out until the hot summer nights.  Then, we'd run around with youthful abandon and try to catch them in a jar.  They were magical! (Until morning, anyway, when they were just another flying insect).

This card is a cutting file from the Silhouette Design Store.  The tag   is a die from Paper Wishes.  The sentiment is a Joy's Life "Pun in the Sun" stamp.  Best of all, though, is that new crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM! This is Barn Door from the *new* Rustic Country Bundle.

There's only a day left to get another new bundle at a discount. The Summer Harvest Bundle is only $1 if you use coupon code JULY, along with your purchase.  Or, purchase anything you like, use coupon code JO10, and save 10% on everything! All the time!

Oh Boy!

Hello, fellow ribbon lovers!  Julie O here again today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.   Masculine cards.  They can be such a struggle.  But the Jute Ribbon and String from 3 Girl JAM definitely makes them easier!

I got this image from participating in the Outlawz  Progressive Challenge. The digi is drawn by Jen Leeflang.  I thought he'd be fun to put on  a card large enough for a business sized envelope. I colored him with Copic markers, then fussy cut him out.  The card base was cut out on my Cricut.  The Kraft paper is from My Mind's Eye.  The Jute ribbon running down the length of the card is, of course, 3 Girl JAM.  The Vintage Button and Jute string are also from 3 Girl JAM

To get 10% off of your entire order from 3 Girl JAM, use discount code JO10. To get this month's featured ribbon for $1, with the purchase of any other item, use code Summer Harvest as check out.  Don't forget about the Anything Goes with Ribbon Challenge!  You'll find it HERE.

Card for a Cause

Hello, crafty friends!  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.  For those of you who follow my blog, I have good news!  I have my blog back!  After not hearing anything from Google after nearly 3 weeks, they decided to help me with my hacked accounts and blog.  So, I'm once again back in business!

Today, I'm participating in a fund-raising blog hop called "Digis for Debbie".  Debbie has a rare form of uterine cancer and no health insurance. It's sponsored by the Fresh Brewed Designs DT.  Crafters often seem to use their art in compassionate ways.  I'm doing that today.

Since this card is loaded with 3 Girl JAM goodness, I'm including it here, on this blog.  Take a look!

This image was designed especially for this hop by Carolyn Bounds, and can be purchased to help with the fundraiser.  Other digis are available also, and you can find them HERE. I colored Sunny Day with Friends with Copic markers. Papers are from Echo Park.  The shaped card is a cutting file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.

I used 2 different kinds of Distressed Lace.  I love to layer them up! There's some Daffodil ribbon from the Spring Flowers Bundle, too.  I folded it in 1/2, and used it for my top layer, then added a double bow.

I'm giving away a $15 gift certificate to the Fresh Brewed Designs store to help with the fund raiser.  Stop by my blog for a chance to win!

Bring Your Own Sunshine

Hello, crafty friends!  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky FingersSince it's so near Independence Day here in the U.S.A., I wanted a patriotic feel to my card.

The butterfly is a digi image from Morgan Fitzsimons.  I colored the digi with Copic markers, and fussy cut it.  The sentiment is from Close To My Heart.  I found the card kit in the Silhouette Online Store.  The designer paper is from Basic Grey.  Card stock is CTMH.

The pretty crinkle ribbon?  The stuff that ties the whole card together?  That's 3 Girl JAM, of course!  It's from the Red, White, and Blue Bundle.

You can use discount code JO10 to get 10% off of anything you order from the 3 Girl JAM Store. 10%!  That's huge!  Or, use code JULY to receive the new Summer Harvest bundle for just $1 with the purchase of any other item from the store.

In Sympathy

Hi, everyone, Julie O here today from her brand new blog, Muddy Paws and Inky Fingers.  My original blog was hacked last Friday, and it has totally disappeared, along with every post I've ever done on anyone else's blog -- including over 50 for 3 Girl JAM.  Poof!  Gone!  I would be so happy if you would visit my new blog and become a follower.  There's blog candy to win, and the prize includes 3 Girl JAM ribbon!

Here I am, my first day of posting on my new blog, and ironically, it's a "Sorry for Your Loss" card.  Maybe I should have changed that sentiment to, "sorry for my loss".

Several weeks ago, I needed a sympathy card for one of my best friends.  She lost a very special aunt, a lady she loved deeply.  Her aunt was a gardener, so I wanted a card that would reflect that.

I used several 3 Girl JAM products on this:  2 layers of 3 Girl JAM Distressed Lace, topped with 3 Girl JAM Baby Girl crinkle ribbon from the Baby Bundle.  I made the hat pin myself and thought this was the perfect card to use it on.

Don't forget about the Anything Goes with Ribbon challenge
underway at the 3 Girl JAM Challenge blog.  There's still time to enter!

If you use discount code JO10, you can get 10% off anything in the 3 Girl JAM store.  Or, for the month of June, use code JUNE to get the new Sunny Meadows Bundle for just $1.  Go shop!

Enjoy the Summer!

Hello, Crafty friends!  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.  Do you like hedgehogs? I have never seen a hedgehog in real life, but I think they are so darn cute!  This little guy is no exception.  He's chasing butterflies and hoping for a warm summer day!
The image is from Great Impressions Stamps.  I colored it with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils.  The sentiment is a Joy's Life stamp, on a ribbon slide cut out using a Spellbinder die. That pretty gray crinkle ribbon holding it all together is from the L/G Bundle from 3 Girl JAM.
The card base is cut out on my Silhouette Cameo, using a cutting file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  Papers are from Close To My Heart.
Have you joined the 3 Girl JAM Challenge yet this month?  It's Anything Goes with ribbon.  You have LOTS of time, but don't forget!

Hello, fellow ribbon lovers.  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & inky FingersWe've had a lot of rain lately where I live, and I've had to break out the rain gear, but I don't look anywhere near this stylin' in my boots!  Check out these flamingos!

Smile

It's Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers
I have a card I made using a Crafty Sentiments designs image, colored with Copic markers.  When I got done, the card needed some contrast.   I had the perfect papers for the image, but I needed something else.  What to use, what to use?  I didn't ponder too long, as 3 Girl JAM ribbon is almost ALWAYS the answer!
I used designer papers from Simple Stories Smarty Pants 6x6 pad.   I used the same Spellbinder die twice, turning it 180 degrees behind the image and adding a bit of bling.
The pretty crinkle ribbon that pulls the whole card together is 3 Girl JAM Sterling from the Celebrations Bundle.
To get some beautiful ribbon (and other great products) of your own, use code JO10 at checkout in the 3 Girl JAM store to save 10% on your entire order. Or, use code APRIL to receive the Spring Flowers Bundle for just a $1.  But you better hurry.  This month is winding down fast!
