Altered Journal

Hi everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations.  Today I am here to share my altered journal.  I started with a blank Fancy Pants journal.  I covered it with Teresa Collins paper.  The ribbon I layered on the side features 3GJ Crinkle ribbon in Coral Crush from the Caribbean Splash collection.

I hand pleated the ribbon and tied a multi-layered bow with the 3GJ Bow Maker.

See Beauty Card

Hi everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations.  Today I am sharing this darling card.  I was at a scrapbooking retreat last month and the hostess had several challenges.  One was to make a card with these butterfly shapes. We were allowed to use our own supplies to supplement the project and for me personally no card is complete with 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon.

I chose to use the Seasons Bundle for this card. I used Melody Ross stickers for the "See Beauty".  I love how delicate the card looks.  I will save this one for a "cheer up" or "just because card" for my stash.

Have a great day and make sure you come back tomorrow to see what our Guest Designer has in store for you!

Baby Shower Card

Hi everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations.  Today I am sharing a darling baby shower card I made for my friend Sarah.  I always love sharing here at 3 Girl Jam.
The paper is from Echo Park Bundle of Joy.  I did some hand stitching along the border.  But my favorite part is of course the beautiful 3 Girl Jam Ice Blue Crinkle Ribbon.  The color can be bought either in the Jackpot Bundle or the Hot & Cold Bundle. I used the 3 Girl Jam Bow Maker for the ribbon.  It always ties my bows so nicely!

About The Guys

Hi Everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations. Making masculine cards is a challenge for most of us.  I am always looking for inspiration for those guy cards.
Today my card features 3 Girl Jam Sunflower Crinkle Ribbon.  You can buy Sunflower either in the Harvest bundle or in The Jackpot (that's how I bought mine). This card is 4 by 4.  I layered multiple cuts from Spellbinders. The background has been sanded and stamped with Pink By Design Argyle background stamp.

The paper is from Echo Park This and That 6 by 6 Pad.  I used the coordinating embellishment pack for the "world" brad in the middle.
As always thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and subscribe to us here at 3 Girl Jam and on my personal blog at 217 Creations.

Welcome Spring Plaques

Hi everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations.  Today I am here to share some spring inspiration. I know I could really use it. Frankly I am sick of the snow.

So I thought I would lift my spirits and work with some fabulous 3Girl Jam Crinkle Ribbon in Summer Sprinkles.  It is available in the Seasons Bundle.  This is my favorite bundle from 3 Girl Jam.

My plaques are made from 5 by 7 hard canvases from Joann.  The images on the front are from a European craft company called Reddy.  My Local Scrapbook Store here in Kansas City sells Reddy kits. Each layer has a number.  You match it up and adhere the layers with pop dots. Think fussy cutting and layering without having to cut!

I mounted the pictures over the painted canvas.  I then hand-pleated with hot glue (lo-temp) the 3 Girl Jam Summer Sprinkles Crinkle Ribbon.  Remember when you are allowing your length for pleating,  Give yourself more length than just stretching it out straight.  To do each  5 by 7 plaque, I used about 2/3 yard.
My final step was to punch a hole for the satin ribbon and hang the plaque on the wall. I love these little pieces. They make me smile even when the calender says end of March but my yard looks like December. Please feel free to stop by my personal blog at 217 Creations for lots of pictures and close ups, plus more details! Have a creative day!

Laced Ribbon Card

Hi everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations.  I am here today to share my card that features 3 Girl Jam Antique White Crinkle Ribbon.  Antique White comes in the Jackpot Bundle but you can also order it in the Pink and White bundle too.
The paper is from Jillibean Soup.  The shamrocks are from Memory Box Dies. My favorite part of this card is the lacing with the 3 Girl Jam Antique White Crinkle Ribbon and the Memory Box Die cut.  After I laced the die cut, I used the 3 Girl Jam Bow Maker to tie a multi-looped bow.  I then tied twine and adhered a button from Vintage Button Assortment from 3 Girl Jam.
