Warmth of Friendshp

The winter weather is definitely upon us.
So, why not warm up someone's day with a special card
to let them know how much you care about them!

Warm colors will brighten their day,
as well as a cheery sentiment!
I used Navy Jute String to "tie" up these mitten brads.
Don't you just love the texture of the ends?
After making a knot, I unraveled the string to make the fringe.
Gorgeous!!

Make a cup of cocoa, with lots of whipped cream..
and then pull up a chair and fill up your shopping cart with fun embellishements
from 3 Girl JAM.  Ribbons, cord, string, lace, buttons, oh my!
Your friends will thank you!!

Don't just use 3 Girl JAM jute string to make a bow or tie together some candies...

Let it stand out and be the statement on your card by pairing it with a punny sentiment and a unique brad/embellishment.

I love this Orange Jute String against the blue/green paper.
It's bound to bring a smile to a friend's face!

Happy 4th with Navy Jute

Hello Crafty Friends,

This is Georgiana from Carson's Creations and today is my day to share. I have a special treat using another favorite product (LOVE the color too) from the 3 Girl JAM shop.

Here is my Design Team Project...
I created a small treat bag (Silhouette On-line #45733) perfect for all those guest that come over on Independence Day. I included Twizzlers that I cut to bite size. The 3" x 3" plastic bag fits inside nicely.

I used 3 Girl JAM's Navy Jute String to tie the bag closed.

Currently on sale for $4.97...be sure to use GC10 for a discount!

A tag (from Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge) stamped with Happy July 4th (from the Celebrate Freedom set available at Craftin' Desert Divas) hangs from the front flap. I added a couple red stars and blue liquid pearls.

New monthly challenge starts tomorrow!
Hope you will join us!

Stay Creative,
Georgiana

I'm Nuts about YOU!

Hello, 3 Girl JAM friends! Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers with some Fall inspiration for you. I wanted to come up with a way to showcase the fun 3 Girl JAM jute ribbon & string bundle.  And, of course, I wanted a Fall/Thanksgiving theme to it.  So, I fired up my Silhouette and went to work:

I found this acorn cutting file in the Silhouette Online Store. It  seemed perfect for what I wanted to do. I tied 3 Girl JAM jute string and ribbon on both bags. These jute strings and ribbon are the perfect colors for Fall projects!

And, a close up of the other treat box, too, to showcase that jute ribbon and string one more time:

To see more details of these treat bags, and to see what else I've been working on, please visit my blog.  And don't forget to check out the challenge.  A new one will start tomorrow!

Give Thanks 4 Fall!

H-U-M-P Day! We can see the weekend from here! Greetings, blog friends, Julie O here today, with a Fall-themed wall hanging to share with you. It has quite a few pictures, so sit back and relax...

There's a lot to see on this banner, so I have pictures of the individual panels.
First, a close up of the top square of the banner.  Each of these 4x4 decorative squares is from a mini album that I took apart.  It was from a mini album that had both acrylic and chipboard pieces in it.

And, a close up of the second panel:

Can you see that jute string on all 4 corners?  That's the new jute string found in the 3 Girl JAM store.  It worked perfectly on this banner because of the wonderful Fall colors.  I used the Jute ribbon found in the 3 Girl JAM store at the top of the banner.

You can see more of the gorgeous 3 Girl JAM jute string that I used on each corner of the panels in these photos, also.

This final "l" gives you a good look at the pretty jute string from 3 Girl JAM.
At the bottom of the banner, I wanted something that would represent Fall -- a busy little squirrel!

That cute squirrel is cut from a die.   I cut the squirrel out on white cardstock, but used distress inks to ink him up.
I have one more view of the whole banner for you, since it was a few pictures back when you saw the whole thing.

Phew! That was a lot of pictures. Thanks for sticking with me!  I hope you enjoyed my banner.  To find out all the details of how I made this banner and the products used on it, please visit my blog, Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers. Now, go do some shopping of your own for that new jute ribbon and string.  It's on sale, and it's PERFECT for Fall!  While you're there, pick up some other goodies, too -- you deserve it!
