Pinecone ornament by Marji

I used the coffee bundle and the barn door ribbons for my bow today and added a small piece of green jeans for some extra color.  I used my bow maker so I could get lots of layers in my bow.
This ornament is from SnapDragon snippets, the pine cone it a bit tedious to assemble but it's very realistic I think.

Thanks for stopping by, I've got a bit more at my blog if you'd like to take a little hop over.

Let It Snow!

Winter greetings, fellow ribbon lovers!  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.   Christmas is getting ever closer!  I mailed my cards several weeks ago, but am still creating for friends and family at near me.

I love the way ribbons can layer together, and that's what I did on this card.

The image is from Lacy Sunshine.  She's called, "Rory's Snowglobe".  I colored her with Copic markers.  I used a Spellbinders die, cutting the same size out twice to back and highlight the colored image.

Papers are from Close To My Heart.  The sentiment is a stamp from The Cutting Cafe. The crinkle ribbon and jute ribbon are both from 3 Girl JAM.  The cream crinkle ribbon is from the Coffee Bundle.  The Jute Ribbon is part of the Jute Ribbon and String Pack

one layout - 2 cards

Hello there, Nicole here today to share a couple of cards I made using the same sketch but different themes.

I used a sketch from Mojo Monday to create these cards.  On my Thanksgiving card, I used some Doodlebug "Friendly Forest" paper from the 6x6 pad.  I used cream ribbon from the  3 Girl JAM "Coffee Bundle" for my bow.  The cute little squirrel is from Create a Critter 2.

For my birthday card I used paper from My Mind's Eye "Hip Hip Hooray" and a piece of ephomera from the same collection for my accent.  This time I used some pink ribbon from the 3 Girl JAM "Ribbon Candy Bundle" for my bow.

For both of my cards I used the 3 Girl JAM "Bow Maker" to make double bows which I glued onto the ribbon that I wrapped around the base layer of my card.

Pumpkin treat count down box

I bought this as a cutting file through the SIL store.  I followed the tutorial they linked here
All of the papers are from CTMH, I've been saving papers from them for so long.  I finally decided I HAVE to start using it.  I am SO happy that I did because it totally makes this project amazing!
It's been a long time since I've done a big 3D project.  I'm really proud of how this came out.

Of course Emily is thrilled as well, by what is inside each drawer.  She gets to open a drawer each day counting down to Halloween when she gets to go Trick or Treating.
Here are the links to the ribbons I used.

It's All Good

Karen N here from Craftily Yours celebrating!  Six days ago, I turned 50!  I'm so excited to enter the decade when I will retire from work!  When I turned 30 and 40, I felt like it was the "end" of something (i.e. my 20s and 30s), but now, I'm looking forward to the beginning of my post-work life.  I have SO much fun ahead - It's All Good....hence, the inspiration for my card!

The paper for this card is from my scrap-pile, and the Stamp is Unity Stamp Company {Boots, Class and Sass}.  The sentiment was a grab-bag stamp from Unity.  That gorgeous ribbon is from the 3 Girl JAM Coffee bundle and the lace is from the 3 Girl JAM distressed lace bundle.  You can pick these up for an very sweet 10% discount using code KN10.  Like a little present for YOU!

And if you haven't joined our 3 Girl JAM challenge this month (birthday w/ ribbon), be sure to check it out for a chance to win some yummy 3 Girl JAM goodness!

Craftily yours,

Karen

Spring pretties by Marji

I'm sharing a sweet spring tag I  made for a swap.
I used my SIL program to cut and size the images, all from the SIL store.
I used a little bit of twine to add the pretty hummingbird charm, then topped it off with some gorgeous ribbon in yummy cream

For my next project I used the beautiful lace and one of the flair buttons to create a sweet hair barrette for my daughter.  It's only taken 4 years for her to agree to wear things in her hair so I'm excited!
I used wire to thread into the holes in the lace then scrunched and twisted to form the rosette shape.
Everything is hot glued in place.

5 Minute CAS card with LATTE Crinkle Ribbon

Hey there Blends and 3 Girl JAM-mers

My post is going to be short and sweet today for my 3 Girl JAM Design Team share! My camera was being uncooperative when I tried to get a few pics, so I wasted more time than I should have in that "department"...lol

I was playing in a fun Speed Craft challenge a short while ago and of course, my thought was to grab the GORGEOUS 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon to use in a "flash". We only had 5 minutes after being given the "ingredients" to have a finished card.
Here were the Rules & Ingredients
MAKE A CARD
BLUE BACKGROUND
BIRD
POEM OR QUOTE
BROWN RIBBON
EMBELLISHMENTS OF CHOICE

I started with some Recollections card stock (Soda Pop 8.5 x 11 paper pack) which I had already in my stash, folded and ready to be made into a card. I grabbed one of my metal Peacock embellishments and adhered it just above the quote I found in a quote stack from the drawer. I glided a line of ATG adhesive across the bottom of the card in order to pleat my Latte (Brown) Crinkle Ribbon (Coffee Bundle). I added a square purple button to tie the left side of the card in with purple part of the quote on the right side.... AND.... Wah Laa.... a 5 minute card!!!!
I love the CAS feel to it and adore how much the Crinkle Ribbon added a "touch of class" to it! Now, be sure to head over to the 3 Girl JAM store to grab up on the Fabulous Bundles of Crinkle Ribbon but Make sure your browse the shop for all the other COOL Products you can purchase there too!

I'm So Proud Of You Card

Hi Friends! Abby here with ScrappinAbby and I'm happy to share a card I created for a good friend of mine using some of the yummy Crinkle Ribbon from 3 Girl JAM .
I wanted to play around with different patterns and colors on this card so I used 4 different papers and 3 Crinkle Ribbons from 3 different bundles. I really like how it turned out : )

Here's a short video that shows you the card up close along with the crinkle ribbons I used...

Some additional photos....
I love how the Hot Chocolate from the Hot & Cold Bundle and the Aqua Splash from the Caribbean Splash Bundle crinkle ribbons work so well together.
I wanted to continue the mix of patterned paper on the inside as well so I did a collage type layer and topped it off with more of the yummy 3GJ crinkle ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed my project today and I encourage you to mix up the different crinkle ribbons from the many bundles you have to choose from.

Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ blog and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project.

Happy Crafting!!

You're Invited.......

Good Morning~
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap.
It has been awhile since I have posted on the 3GJ blog other than for the challenge with a sneak peak so I am excited to be sharing a project with you all today!!

It is Friday and today is my "official" first day of summer vacation!!
My kiddo's finished school on Tuesday and Wednesday but yesterday I hosted the end of the year Staff Appreciation Breakfast.
This is to say thanks for a GREAT school year, say goodbye to teacher's if any are leaving and to give them what they all LOVE~ food...LOL!

So here is the invite I created....
I wanted something fun for my invite this year. It has been a rough year in our district with budget stuff and lots of teacher layoff's so I was going for something that they could smile at
and pretty CAS too!
I designed the entire LO in my silhouette studio and then once I had the idea sketched out, I went and cut out all the pieces...
I used Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon's~Java Great Day Cutting Files. Isn't this just the cutest???? Lisa really knows how to make ADORABLE files!!

And then for my ribbon I used a newer released color and one of my favorites~Latte from the Coffee Bundle.
Of course for some added details I used my sewing machine...LOL! Just wanted to add a bit more to my LO without taking away from the invite part..

Well there you have it! I hope you have enjoyed my project!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT Friday!!!

Dont forget you still have LOTS of time to enter our Birthday Celebration challenge over at the 3GJ Challenge Blog!! You can find out all the info HERE

Happy Birthday Gramps!

Weekend is ALMOST here.
I cannot wait.
I have alot of relaxing to do!
(well, one can fantasize, can't they?)

Rebecca here to show you a birthday card that I created for my daughter's grandpa.
Whatcha' think?  Did I pull off a man card?

I have a really difficult time making cards suitable for men.
This one was good practice.

The crinkle ribbon I used was perfect for the designer paper!  It's Latte, from the Coffee Bundle!

Which reminds me....if you want some good inspiration on birthday cards (besides this one, of course), you should make your way over to the challenge blog.  And you ought to think about linking up a card!

Anyway, thanks for stopping by!
Have a grand THURSDAY!
(oh, gosh...really just one more day)

Happy Monday, Nicole here.  I hope you had a great weekend and were able to hop along with the 3 Girl JAM design team's "Birthday Blog Hop".  Today I am sharing another birthday card I made - time to build up that stash!!  I used a file from the silhouette online store for my card base.  I used Latte crinkle ribbon from the 3 Girl JAM Coffee Bundle and the 3GJ bow maker to tie a doulbe bow for my card.  I added a 3 Girl Jam Vintage Button and threaded it with some twine I had in my stash and glued it to the top of my bow.

Congratulations Sweet Baby Card

Hi Friends. Abby here with ScrappinAbby and I have a really sweet baby congratulations card to share with all of you. A friend of mine at work just found out that she is going to be a grandma. This is her daughter's first pregnancy and I've made some crafty things for her before for their wedding last summer. So since this is such a happy occasion for her, I wanted to create a card for Heather congratulating her on journey into motherhood.

For this card I used some of sweet Baby Boy and Baby Girl Crinkle Ribbon from the Baby Bundle along with a bit of the Latte ribbon from the from newly released Coffee Bundle from 3 Girl JAM.

I love mixing the different Crinkle Ribbons from all the bundles that 3 Girl JAM has to offer.

If you don't have any of these colors in your ribbon stash..be sure to head over to the 3GJ Store and get some today. I hope you enjoyed my card & I can't wait to put this in the mail for Heather. I will have additional photos & a short video on my blog which you can check out HERE.

Thanks for stopping by the 3 Girl JAM blog and Happy Crafting!!
