Home decor by Marji

I have 2 projects for you today, I used the antique white crinkle ribbon for the center piece
I found this on clearance a while back for just over $2.  It included everything except the ribbon!
Fun project to do, took about half an hour.  I added the ink to the edge of the frame and that's it!
Love quick projects.

I also wanted to re-post this card, I entered this in a challenge a few weeks ago.  I used the cute new flower die cut ribbon as a border.

If not here is your link !
PARTY
Since this month is all about Celebration at 3 Girl JAM I have created a Birthday Card. Here it is:
On this card I embossed a card stock mat then took a smaller piece of card stock and covered it with fabric.
Then I faux stitched with a black photo safe pen. Next I adhered the fabric and  the embossed mat together.
My next step was to make my bow with my so easy to work with 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon. I then used a Maya Road canvas tag and stamped the sentiment onto it then inked the edges and attached it to the card. I used  pop dots to attach it all to my card base.
As you can tell I am a HUGE fan of 3 Girl JAM Crinkle ribbon and the bow maker! I love having a perfect bow every time. You will also find a tutorial on the 3 Girl JAM blog to show you how to use it.

This is a double bow but the possibilities with this great tool are endless!
If you want perfect bows every time this is the product for you!!
Here is a close up of the bow

Thank-you for stopping by my blog today!!! Be sure to visit 3 Girl JAM and also jump over to the

~WONDERFUL WISHES~

Hey Hey Hey 3 Girl JAMMERS!  Jessica here from Jessica's Craft Shaque to share my Design Team Project with you today.

The Wonderful 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon never fails to lend it valuable inspiration when I am crafting "under the wire".  With the 4 kids starting school last week, I have found very little time to breath let alone craft.  So when I needed to crunch down in the craft room, I knew I wouldn't be let down when I reached into my scrumptious Rainbow of Crinkle Ribbons to start!

The ribbon colors I chose for this project included the yummy Hot Chocolate, Antique White, and Gold Crown

I used this crafty opportunity to create a card for my sweet friend, and probably many of yours' as well, Heather Lynn, who battled with a long stay at the hospital recently.  She has made her way back home, but has a lot of recovery ahead of her.  I love her dearly, and wanted to show her how much I AM WISHING for her to be surrounded with ONLY WONDERFUL EVERYTHING.

I pleated the ribbon to bring my two papers to a perfect seam, but the beautiful pleats are a bit hidden behind the stamped flower image.

So, I created a fun Ribbon Flower using all three colors as well.  This style flower is available in my shop at Pinque Peacock if you would like to custom order your own.  The Fabric Buttons in the centers of the stamped flowers can also be found at Pinque Peacock.

I am happy to partner with Julie, 3 Girl JAM Owner and Founder, to create these lovely floral embellishments and I really enjoy using them on my own personal projects. (Plus, I have more excuses to play with my FAVORITE CRINKLE RIBBON EVER!  HOO-RAH!

If you would like to order any of the colors I have used on my project today, I made sure I provided links for you to hop over to the 3 Girl JAM Shop and grab some for yourselves!

Happy Crafting!!!

Live Life With No Regrets Altered Bottle Cap

Hi Friends! Abby here with ScrappinAbby and I'm excited to be sharing another project with you here on the 3 Girl JAM Blog. I altered a bottle cap and created a piece of wall art for my craft room....
For this altered bottle cap, I used the Purple Passion from the Royal Bundle and some of the Antique White from the Pink & White bundle. These are some of my favorite colors from 3GJ.

Here's a quick video to show you the project up close along with the yummy crinkle ribbon I used...
I love how this turned out. I used some of the Purple Passion on the back to create a hanger for the bottle cap so I have the option to hang it if I chose or I can simply display it as I have above. I forgot to take a pic of that but you can see it in the video : )

I have to tell you I love coming up with different ways to use the 3GJ Crinkle Ribbon and I hope I was able to inspire you to try it out on an altered item as well.

Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ blog and happy craftin!!

The Journey Framed Wall Art

Hi Friends! This is Abby with ScrappinAbby and I have a really cool project to share with all of you today. Using some leftover items from another project, a Dollar Tree (store) frame and some of the yummy 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon , I've created a beautiful (I think..lol) wall art piece for my craft room.
Here's a short video that shows you the frame up close along with the crinkle ribbons I used...

Here you can see that I've used some of the Antique White crinkle ribbon to hang my frame.
The background for my frame are some strips of paper bags I had leftover from another project. This is why I keep my scraps...you can always use them for another crafty project. I love this stamped sentiment from Tim Holtz.
Love love love how the beautiful Purple Passion crinkle ribbon accents the flower cluster and drapes off the bottom of the frame. The frame itself was a gold color. I simply painted & sanded it a bit to give it the distressed look.

Here's a closer look at the yummy crinkle ribbon....

I love how this project turned out & I can't wait to hang it on my craft room wall. You can use the 3GJ Crinkle Ribbon for so many crafty purposes on one single project which is one of the many reasons why I love it so much.

Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ Blog today and for letting me share another ScrappinAbby crafty project with all of you.

Don't forget to stop by the 3GJ Store and pick up some yummy crinkle ribbon!!

Happy Crafin : )

Guest Designer - Jessica Kephart Week 3

HAPPY HUMP DAY EVERYONE!! Jessica again from Homespun Elegance to share a SUPER fun Project with the Muslim Bags in the 3 Girl JAM Store!!
I sure hope you will get one and give this a try!

If you missed my first two projects featuring 3 Girl JAM Products, I hope you will take the time to stop by and let me know what you think!

I used Tulip Fabric Paint, and Diluted it about 1/3 paint, and 2/3 water, and put it in a Spray Bottle, and went to town!!

I took an old torn sheet outside and spray until I had the color I wanted.

I distressed the bag with brown inks. Crinkle your Bag so you have a textured look when finished.

Using Circle Punches and Hot Glue, I made different size rosettes in the Merlot, London Fog, and Antique White 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon! These Colors are beautiful!!

I used a CD Binder Insert and hand stitched it to the bag.

Using my Unity Stamps and Stayzon ink in Timber Brown, I stamp a variety of my favorite images ad sentiments to the bag.

I grabbed a modge podge of my favorite embellishments and just started placing them around the "frame" (CD Insert)

I used an assortment of Buttons from 3 Girl JAM
The Rosettes I made from the London Fog, Merlot, and Antique White Crinkle Ribbon
and of course this incredible bag from 3 Girl JAM!!

I hope you love this project as much as I do! Don't forget to Follow 3 Girl JAM so you don't miss out on their New Releases, Sales, inspiration and Fun Challenges and Giveaways!!

Thankful Beyond Measure

I trust you are having a great Thursday.  This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and I'm so happy to be with you today.  Do you ever have those times when you just want to let someone know that you are thankful for them?  I know I do.  Recently a co-worker asked me if I had an extra thank you card for just such a person and I knew that I needed to make one that was extra special.  Needing room for multiple people to sign and leave a message, I decided that I would make a 5X7 card.  I grabbed some paper, some embellishments, and a few other items and went to work.  Of course any special card is made more special with 3 Girl JAM ribbon so I also grabbed some Witch's Brew and Antique White.

Now I must tell you that there is a NEW COLOR of 3 Girl JAM ribbon that will be coming soon that would have been even more perfect for this card.  I admit that I seriously considered sneaking it in here, but I behaved.  Curious?  You will all have to wait just a few more days.  Let me tell you, it will be worth the wait.

Of course a card is not made from ribbon alone so I should probably let you know some of the other things I used:
Paper Trey Ink - Vintage Cream cardstock, "Counting my blessings" die and stamp set
Basic Grey - PB&J 6X6 paper pad and "Marjolaine" woolies
Close to My Heart - Outdoor Denim ink
Adhesives - foam and tape runners

If you head over to my blog by clicking here, I have also posted a video.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Remember to take some time to enjoy the little things.
