Guest Designer Kristan Anderson

Welcome to another guest design post for 3 Girl JAM.  It has been so fun to learn about other bloggers through these posts.  This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and I am super excited to introduce you to another guest designer.  She's not completely new to 3 Girl JAM though.  Why? Because she recently was featured as a guest designer on the 3 Girl JAM challenge blog after winning one of the challenges.  (By the way: if you're not following and playing along with our challenges, you should really check those out.  They are lots of fun and the prizes are always great!)

Today's Guest Designer is Kristan from Babycakes.  I first "met" Kristan about a year and a half ago when we were both commenting and following another blog.  I began following her blog primarily because we had a lot of core beliefs in common.  Her creativity was a great added bonus.  We encouraged each other to apply for the same design team (for a stamp company) and we were both chosen to serve on that design team.  It was great to interact with her as a design team sister and get to know her and about her family and life in Canada.  After agreeing to be our guest designer for today, Kristan decided that it was time to step away from the blogging world (at least for now) in order to focus more on her daughter and other important things in her life.  However, she wished to complete this post after agreeing to it.  Though I am sad to see her step back, I appreciate her commitment to her family and beliefs.  Maybe someday she will be able to return and share her creativity with us again.  In the meantime, you could spend hours perusing her blog and seeing all the great things she has made through the years.  Quite a few of her projects feature 3 Girl JAM ribbon -  projects like this one using Merlot and London Blue.

Isn't this gorgeous?
Here are the other supplies Kristan used:
Hair Clip
Felt
Spellbinders Nestabilities Die: Scalloped Circle LG
Button
1" Cirlce Punch
Hot Glue Gun
Needle & Thread

Kristan has posted step-by-step instructions and pictures over on her blog Babycakes.  Be sure to hop over there to learn how to make this cute hair bow ribbon.  Then hop on over to the 3 Girl JAM store and pick up some crinkle ribbon and vintage buttons (or maybe a little flair) to try it out for yourself.
