The background of this card was created by gluing three of the colored Jute Ribbons from the Jute Ribbon & String pack onto white cardstock. I did overlap on the cream jute ribbon as it is a bit wider than the merlot and sunflower colors. 

I then added the sentiment and finished off with some Green Jeans crinkle ribbon from the Saturday Morning bundle and the Charcoal crinkle ribbon from the Rustic Country Bundle. 

The button on the flower on the ribbon is from the Vintage Buttons pack.

Give Thanks card

Hi! It's already November, boy did that sneak up! 

Today I am sharing a card featuring several items from the 3 Girl Jam store. 

The pumpkin was created with the orange jute string from the Jute Ribbon & String pack. I looped it around 4 times in varying lengths and then added glue to each layer and pinched together to keep it together. I then created a stalk using a bit of Clover crinkle ribbon from the Sunny Meadow bundle. I then added glue to the bottom layers and then pinched to give it a pumpkin shape. 

I finished it off with a bow using the Charcoal crinkle ribbon from the Rustic Country bundle.

Dress up a candle

Raechelle here sharing a quick and easy way to spice up a boring candle. 

I began by adhering some of the 1" Cream Jute from the Jute Ribbon String Pack around the candle. I then combined the Raspberry and Blueberry crinkle ribbon from the Summer Harvest Bundle and tied them around the jute finishing off with a bow.  

I tied some more of the Raspberry ribbon through one of the heart button holes and then adhered to the larger brown button, both which came from the Vintage Buttons. The last step was to adhere the buttons on the bow.

I could blame it on my new laptop that had to be mailed in last week for repairs..

Don't you just love the contrast between jute string and the seam binding?

I love it!

This is Lemon-Lime ribbon from the LG bundle.

I tied and knotted the Coffee Jute String.

Glue Dots ® work great at adhering your 3 Girl JAM jute string to your card front!

I used double sided tape...and pleated the seam binding for the ruffle effect.

So pretty, so lovely, so happy!

More Manly Valentine

Just look what Jute Ribbon from 3 Girl JAM can do for your valentine for your man.  It puts a rough texture onto your card..while still keeping your style sweet and lovely!  

The Merlot colored Jute Ribbon works well with my choice of patterned papers.  

In fact, the papers day it all!

I added silver cord to my button. 

But the ends are tucked in back and held down with a Craft Glue Dot.  This keeps my layout looking stream lined and clean.

Dream~Altered Journal with 3 Girl JAM

Hi Friends! Abby here with ScrappinAbby and today I have a fun project to share with all of you using some of the fabulous Crinkle Ribbon & Trims from 3GJ. I've had these grey felt covered stationary items for quite some time and I thought I would alter the journal that came in this set to something I like. 

Normally I have a short video to share with all of you but I sorta forgot to charge it...oops. I will however have it up on my YouTube Channel later this week so be sure to look for it.

I created a fun flower using two different bundles and then added a few strands of the silver cording just to give it that pop. 

I also made a simple bookmark with the same coordinating Crinkle Ribbon...

Creating a quick and easy project like this would make the perfect gift for anyone who loves to journal or just sketch. This is a great idea to dress up those plain Jane journals you can find at craft stores or even book stores and put your own special twist or touch on it. 

I know I love how mine turned out and I can't wait to use it : )

Hello, crafty ribbon lovers.  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers, and I'm bringing you advice. I'm particularly excited about today's card because it has special meaning to me.  The sentiment really speaks to me.  As we go through life, we can NEVER give up!

Really Cute Boots!

Hello, and happy Thursday, crafty friends. Julie O here today. Our theme this month on the challenge blog is "All Things Spring" and I made a card that fits that theme. As is often the case, today's card comes with a story.  There's a nursing assistant where I work that is always looking for fun galoshes she can wear when she is helping residents shower.  She thinks it makes it more fun, and not such a loss of their dignity.  My father, before he died, used to laugh at her boots and say, "I want those boots!"  Patti would answer back, "You can't have them", or "They won't fit!" or something to that effect.  They had this "boot thing".  She misses my dad terribly, too.  So, Patti, this card is for you:

I used lots of 3 Girl JAM jute ribbon and string on this card, 'cause it added to the cute effect. The boots were colored with Copic markers.  They are a stamp from Unity Stamp Co.  The sentiment stamp is from Great Impressions Stamps. The 6x6 papers are My Mind's Eye Lime Twist.  The petite umbrella die is by Memory Box. The Kraft base is Close To My Heart.
