time to gather the peeps

Hello everyone!
Donna K here to share a fun card that I almost "pitched"
… glad I didn't because after I added a few little items I really kinda like it now.
Funny how that happens, huh?
My funny little peep card goes along with the
Yellow, Green & Orange
challenge theme for this month…there is still time to join in!
I used 3 Girl JAM Harvest Orange crinkle ribbon and you can find that right HERE
When you order use the code DB10 for your 10% off
on your 3GirlJAM total..sweet deal, right?!
The "peeps" are circle and oval punches, folded and feathered.
I don't do well with EYES so I just added the teeny pearls
in hopes of preventing a disastrous crazy eye on each peeper.
So…before you go…make a note
The "All Things Spring" blog hop
with the 3 Girl JAM design team is

Have a happy weekend!

For Your Special Day

Hi Friends! Abby here withScrappinAbby  and today I have another 3GJ DT project to share with all of you. My Mother-in-Law is getting remarried this weekend and I wanted to use some of the yummy new Distress Lace on her card. She didn't want a bridal shower per say so all of us daughters-in-law (there are 5 of us) are getting together to honor her with a dinner and some small personal gifts. I'm using more of the 3GJ goodies on her packaging so be sure to check out my blog for those project photos.

I also have a short video that shows you the card up close along with the Distress Lace I used on the project.......

This lace is the perfect touch of femininity for this bridal card.
I think my Mother-in-Law is going to LOVE this card. She loves lace and the 3 Girl JAM lace is simply gorgeous and adds so much softness, texture and dimension to the card.

Be sure to shop at the 3GJ Store , the Distress Lace is on sale right now so it's the perfect time to grab some for yourself and use it in your crafting projects.

Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ blog today and for checking out another ScrappinAbby post.

Happy Crafting!!

Tooth fairy pouch by Marji

Image of Cotton Muslin Bags- Variety Bundle
I am so hooked on the rainbow loom things.  I am having fun challenging myself with the different things on you tube.
So much more fun than 1,000 bracelets.
So I used a cute muslin bag, painted it with some pink shimmer paint then hot glued my pieces to the bag.
These tutorials are by MarloomZ Creations
I love this one, lol, makes me giggle.

Today's Guest Designer...Gerda

Hi there!
Karen N. here... One of my most FAVORITE tasks on the 3 Girl JAM team is introducing our awesome guest designers and today's guest designer is definitely fabulous!

Introducing Gerda from Gerda's Card Creations...

Hello All,
My name is Gerda and I live in the Netherlands. Today I’m super excited because I was asked to be a Guest Designer at 3 Girl JAM. (Thanks Georgiana for the invite!)

The theme of this month's challenge is to use the colors yellow, green and orange on your project. I have created 2 different cards for this challenge...a “Shape Card” and a “Sliding Card”. Both cards are from the Silhouette Store.

On the flower Shape Card I have used the Cuttlebug folder “Swiss Dots” and the folder “Polka Dots”, some pattern paper, ribbon from 3 Girl JAM (got it from Georgiana), a green button, a tag from MCT (Teeny Tag Greetings) a stamp from MCT (Teeny Tag Holidays), jams and some glitter.

The sliding card is on the inside yellow with green with a stitching line. On the outside I have used some pattern paper with also a stitching line, a stamp from MCT (It’s All About You), ribbon from 3 Girl JAM and some green pearls.

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget that the “3 Girl JAM" Yellow, Green and Orange challenge is still going on and you have still time to enter your project.

Feel free to stop by my BLOG. (It’s in Dutch,  but feel free to use the Google translator on the right sidebar).
Gerda

Thanks Gerda for sharing your talent with us! Both cards are absolutely wonderful!

Doing the Birthday Shake

Happy Friday Everyone,

This is Georgiana from Carson's Creations. Today is my 3 Girl JAM day and I am sharing a birthday card for a sweet 8 year old.

Here is my Design Team project...
I created a shaker card because I wanted to try and make it thicker than last time. I was quite frustrated while cutting the transparency film and framing the double sided tape, but I think the next one will be much easier.
I wrapped the ribbon around the entire frame to hide the double sided tape. Then a bow that combines the new Lemon-Lime and Summer Sprinkles ribbon was adhered to the bottom.
I figured any child would find pleasure in interacting with their card, so I added green, orange, and frost sequins.
Other Materials:
Fancy Pants paper ~ Summer Soul stack
cream card stock
Elegant Edges ~ frame cut at 3 1/2"
Plantin School book ~ 8 cut at 1 3/4"
Happy Birthday stamp
black ink

Hope you will join us at 3 Girl JAM for March's challenge. There are still a few days left before the deadline.

March 1st - March 28th
GreenYellowOrange Project

Stay Creative,
Georgiana

A Spring Themed Birthday Card

Hello, sweet friends.  Julie O here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers. It's the first day of Spring: time for long walks, a little gardening, and bike rides.  Well, at least it should be.  But we still have about 2 feet of snow on the ground so it'll be awhile yet.  But I'm hopeful.
I have a good friend who loves to ride bike.  And I mean RIDE.  She and her husband take week-long bike trips.  They are heading for Spain in a few weeks to bike that country. So, when she recently celebrated her birthday, I wanted a bike/Spring theme to her card.  But she also likes vintage.  So, here's the finished product:

I used some retired papers from Close To My Heart that I've been hanging onto for a project just like this.  I bought them several years ago for their bicycle/vintage theme, and I still like them.  The image stamp is a Unity Stamp Company Stamp.  That piece of really great jute ribbon? It's from 3 Girl JAM. I used some Tim Holtz distress inks on the stamped image.  Then, I layered various papers behind it using Spellbinders dies.  The "celebrate" sentiment is a retired CTMH stamp.
I hope you liked my vintage/birthday/spring themed card.  It was very fun to make!
Need some of that jute ribbon for yourself? Use coupon code JO10 at checkout for 10% off ANYTHING in the store.  Yeah.  That's a good deal!

Secret Agent...

Hey Hey friends Scrappin' Madge here from Madge's Scrappin' Lounge! Happy Wednesday! Today I am super excited to share with you a fun layout that I designed of my daughter.  I had these cute spy glasses! You know the kind, the ones with the wind-up noses and the big black glasses? Well, leave it up to my daughter to put my hat on sideways and these funny glasses on! She is for sure 007! Secret Agent Man.. or in this case Girl! LOL!!! I used several different elements on this layout but the ones that made the layout complete are the fabulous products from 3 Girl JAM!!! Yup, today is my day over at 3 Girl JAM and I used two different products on my layout.  First I used some new yummy Light and Bright lace ribbon! I love how there is silver glitter at the bottom of the lace it gives it just enough bling!!! You can get your Lace {HERE}

I also used the great Spring Flowers Bundle of Crinkle Ribbon and you can get that {HERE}

Here is my layout.  I hope that you enjoy it!

That is all for now.

Yellow, Green and Orange with Donna K

Hello and Happy Friday!
Donna K here to share some
Yellow, Green & Orange inspiration.
I love St. Patty's Day…I think it's the whole "lucky" theme.
Soooo…..I came up with a "bouquet" of Shamrock Balloons and featured
a big 'ole Sunflower crinkly bow tying things together.
AND yes…I had to use my bow maker to get the double bow appearance here.
{I'm not ashamed to admit I need help I'm the bow making department!}
Then….since I was feeling froggy I decided to jump and make another card to share.
I needed a birthday card for our little blonde
 nephew who celebrates this month.
The paper I chose is a fun lime green and goes PERFECTLY with the new
Lemon-Lime ribbon!  I added a Harvest Orange banner behind my
faux paper button to help it stand out.

You can pick up your ribbons or other 3GirlJAM products
and get a sweet little discount by using the code DB10 when you check out.
Pretty cool that Julie is so generous, eh?!
You also should link up your own
Yellow, Green and Orange Creations
for our March Challenge and you can do that by
visiting our Challenge Blog Here.

Have a fab day today…
