Sketch Inspired Birthday

Good morning. This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and I hope you are having an amazing day. I can't tell you how good it felt to get in the craft room. I haven't had any crafting time in 2 weeks. I didn't even have much time to spend, but it was oh-so-wonderful! Unfortunately, since I didn't have much time and I have so many cards to make, I needed a plan and it needed to be quick and easy. Ever have those days? This is the perfect time to grab a sketch. My sketch came from Operation Write Home, but you can find free sketches all over the internet. With sketch in hand, a couple of pads of paper, and some scrumptious 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon, I was ready to go.

Here's what I used:
Cherry Lipstick crinkle ribbon
Echo Park's "This & That - Graceful" 6X6 collection
TPC Studio - Happy Birthday Stamp
Archival Ink - Jet Black
Paper Trey Ink - "Vintage Cream" cardstock for the base

Did I mention that I have a LOT of cards to make? March is a busy birthday month for our family and there are going to be quite a few belated cards in that mix. I decided to make a masculine version of this same card using Goblin Green ribbon. Curious? Head on over to DJ's Sundries to see it. Don't forget that there is a "Green with Ribbon" challenge going on over on the challenge blog. My second card definitely fits this challenge, so I think that I will just link up. Better hurry though, because this challenge ends soon. Be sure to click here to enter.

Have a super day!

Welcome Spring Plaques

Hi everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations.  Today I am here to share some spring inspiration. I know I could really use it. Frankly I am sick of the snow.

So I thought I would lift my spirits and work with some fabulous 3Girl Jam Crinkle Ribbon in Summer Sprinkles.  It is available in the Seasons Bundle.  This is my favorite bundle from 3 Girl Jam.

My plaques are made from 5 by 7 hard canvases from Joann.  The images on the front are from a European craft company called Reddy.  My Local Scrapbook Store here in Kansas City sells Reddy kits. Each layer has a number.  You match it up and adhere the layers with pop dots. Think fussy cutting and layering without having to cut!

I mounted the pictures over the painted canvas.  I then hand-pleated with hot glue (lo-temp) the 3 Girl Jam Summer Sprinkles Crinkle Ribbon.  Remember when you are allowing your length for pleating,  Give yourself more length than just stretching it out straight.  To do each  5 by 7 plaque, I used about 2/3 yard.
My final step was to punch a hole for the satin ribbon and hang the plaque on the wall. I love these little pieces. They make me smile even when the calender says end of March but my yard looks like December. Please feel free to stop by my personal blog at 217 Creations for lots of pictures and close ups, plus more details! Have a creative day!

Every Diva Deserves her Day

Hello all, Jovan here!  Happy Monday to you!  Today starts Spring break for my kids, I'm so not looking forward to a whole week with them home.

For my card today I'm using Tuxedo crinkle ribbon from the Celebrations bundle.  I used a SSD image called Samantha Sassy.  I colored her with promarkers and paper pieced her dress.
I think her seating on the ribbon is the prefect touch.

I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Tiny Organizer

Wooo-Whooo! It's Friday. Rebecca here, from Bloomingpink Studios and let me just say that I'm so ready for the weekend! Aren't you?
Anyway, I'm here to show you a little book I made. It's a small book - measures 4.25 x 5.25 inches. So, in essence it's a card sized notebook with about 20 total sheets of paper stitched in. I really needed a list book to jot down things I need to remember. And of course I wanted it stylish at the same time!
I've used the Crinkle Ribbon, Sunflower, from the Harvest Bundle. Stamped it, added a little butterfly, and an antique dry cleaning pin with a super tiny tag!
Hope that this simple project gives you a bit of inspiration!
Have a great weekend!

Spring IS Coming?

Hi, Julie O here from Muddy Paws and Inky Fingers wishing you a hoppy Easter and Spring! It's snowing -- again! -- here in Wisconsin as I write this post, but spring is coming -- right? In in effort to "jump" start spring, and put you in the mood for a festive Easter, I made a couple treat boxes using 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon, of COURSE!

The colors of the Pink & White bundle were perfect for these little treat holders. Don't they look yummy? One of my dogs thought so, too. Stop by my blog for a look. And don't forget to check out the latest challenge on our challenge blog. We'd love to have you join us!

Shabby Topiary

Hi Friends! It's Abby aka ScrappinAbby and I am excited to share another crafty creation with all of you using lots of the beautiful 3GJ Crinkle Ribbon.

I LOVE the project I made today and it is already displayed in my craft room..lol. I made a Shabby Topiary using my FAVORITE color..yup you guessed it...purple!!

For this topiary I used the Witches Brew from the Spooky Bundle and Iris from the Spring Flowers Bundle crinkle ribbon. Love love love these colors!!

I wanted to create this ombre effect with the two shades of purple ribbon on each ball of the topiary.

I not only wanted to make a decor item for my craft room but I wanted to use the crinkle ribbon in a different way this time for my DT project. I am actually ordering more of these colors since I used up what I had in my stash : )

Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ blog and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project. I hope I've inspired you to head into your creative space and use your 3GJ crinkle ribbon in a way you haven't used it before. I did and I love how it turned out.

Happy Craftin : )

Laced Ribbon Card

Hi everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations.  I am here today to share my card that features 3 Girl Jam Antique White Crinkle Ribbon.  Antique White comes in the Jackpot Bundle but you can also order it in the Pink and White bundle too.
The paper is from Jillibean Soup.  The shamrocks are from Memory Box Dies. My favorite part of this card is the lacing with the 3 Girl Jam Antique White Crinkle Ribbon and the Memory Box Die cut.  After I laced the die cut, I used the 3 Girl Jam Bow Maker to tie a multi-looped bow.  I then tied twine and adhered a button from Vintage Button Assortment from 3 Girl Jam.
If you want more details and pictures you can visit my personal blog HERE. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and subscribe to us here at 3 Girl Jam.

You are my hero!

Happy Monday!! Nicole here - I hope you have had a great weekend and that your week is off to a good start. Today I am sharing an easel card that I made using one of the new Superhero Flair buttons. The designs for these buttons are from Lisa Norris at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. She is also the creator of the cute matching cut file I used on my card. Isn't it fun when we can pair things up like this (the superhero flair and the superhero cut) ?! I accented my card with some gorgeous Holly Berry ribbon from the 3GJ Winter Bundle,

Thanks for stopping by today!! Don't forget to check out our current challenge over at the 3 Girl Jam challenge blog. For more details on my card you can visit my blog.

Mustache Mania

Hello All, Gloria here from Oma's Crafts.
I hope you have been enjoying the first half of our
3GJ/TAWS Cross Promotion Double Challenge Blog Hop
that started on Friday. Be sure to also join in on the second half starting this coming Friday.
I am so very honored to be in the company of all these extremely talented and creative artists!!
The project I was "Inspired" to make was a late treat for my Valentine. My family had a few hard personal things we had to deal with around the holiday and nobody was really thinking about chocolates and flowers at the time. Hubby's birthday was the day before Valentine's and I even forgot to wish him Happy Birthday. I felt so bad.
I covered a State Line bag with all the mustache stamps from TAWS "Mustache Mania" stamp set and replaced the ties with London Blue crinkle ribbon. The bag is filled with yummy Sixlets candies.
Happy Crafting!!
