Back to School Note Cards

Morning and Happy Friday everyone!!!
Jessica here with a  fun, quick and easy Back to School project to share for
3 Girl JAM that also fits our current challenge going on for the next week.
So as a reminder the challenge is
Back to School w/Ribbon
And here is what I made...
a set of 5 note cards all packaged up and ready to give....
How adorable is this????
I found this fun printable freebie from Jennifer McGuire HERE and it was just a matter of printing out my 5 note note cards, then hand cutting the apple that is also included as an extra in the download and coloring it with my copic markers. I did 5 apples like that and then attached them to my cards with some glue.
After rounding the corners on my note cards and placing an envelope behind each one, I placed them in this clear card box, wrapped some Mistletoe crinkle ribbon around the box and tied it in a bow.
Then for my tag, I used My Creative Time~Stitched Tag die with the matching Round Tab, another apple from the download that I again colored with my copic markers and the sentiment stamped from My Teacher Rocks! set.
There you go! A super quick and GREAT gift idea for your teacher!!!

I sure hope you have enjoyed my project and will play along with us over at the
Remember you have one more week to get your
Back to School w/Ribbon
 projects in!!
Thanks so very much for stopping by!!
Have a GREAT Friday!!

Pretty Purple Gift Bag

Good morning.  This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and I trust you are having a great day.

A good friend recently celebrated her birthday and I wanted to give her a little something.  I decided to take some time and make a special gift bag for her.  Her favorite color is purple, so I thought I could decorate a bag just to suit her.  A little Sterling 3 Girl JAM ribbon was the perfect accent for the purple paint.  My friend told me she loved it and that makes me happy.

I also used the following products:
Kraft paper bag (a yard sale find)
Creative Inspirations paint - Plum
Heidi Swapp mask
"Made with love charm" (from my stash)
Recollections heart punch
(to punch the holes in the top of the bag)
Rose from The Paper Studio
Scor-Tape - 1/4"

If you would like to see a video tutorial on how I altered this bag, please head over to DJ's Sundries by clicking here.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Remember to take some time to enjoy the little things.

~WONDERFUL WISHES~

Hey Hey Hey 3 Girl JAMMERS!  Jessica here from Jessica's Craft Shaque to share my Design Team Project with you today.

The Wonderful 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon never fails to lend it valuable inspiration when I am crafting "under the wire".  With the 4 kids starting school last week, I have found very little time to breath let alone craft.  So when I needed to crunch down in the craft room, I knew I wouldn't be let down when I reached into my scrumptious Rainbow of Crinkle Ribbons to start!

The ribbon colors I chose for this project included the yummy Hot Chocolate, Antique White, and Gold Crown

I used this crafty opportunity to create a card for my sweet friend, and probably many of yours' as well, Heather Lynn, who battled with a long stay at the hospital recently.  She has made her way back home, but has a lot of recovery ahead of her.  I love her dearly, and wanted to show her how much I AM WISHING for her to be surrounded with ONLY WONDERFUL EVERYTHING.

I pleated the ribbon to bring my two papers to a perfect seam, but the beautiful pleats are a bit hidden behind the stamped flower image.

So, I created a fun Ribbon Flower using all three colors as well.  This style flower is available in my shop at Pinque Peacock if you would like to custom order your own.  The Fabric Buttons in the centers of the stamped flowers can also be found at Pinque Peacock.

I am happy to partner with Julie, 3 Girl JAM Owner and Founder, to create these lovely floral embellishments and I really enjoy using them on my own personal projects. (Plus, I have more excuses to play with my FAVORITE CRINKLE RIBBON EVER!  HOO-RAH!

If you would like to order any of the colors I have used on my project today, I made sure I provided links for you to hop over to the 3 Girl JAM Shop and grab some for yourselves!

Happy Crafting!!!
Jessica

Home

Hi Everyone!

I bought a new house a few months ago and I love it!
I have been busy unpacking and getting everything everything exactly how I want it.
Now that the hard part is done-
I get to have fun with the decorating....

I made this wall hanging and LOVE how it turned out!

It all started with an 8x8 canvas.
I covered it with some October Afternoon Paper
I cut out the Home "h" and the flowers with my Silhouette Cameo (images were from the Silhouette store).
I used a Linnie Shape from the Linnie Blooms store and finished it off with a ribbon flower made with 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon.

You can see my project on the Linnie Blooms blog and the 3 Girl JAM blog today also.
I'd love it if you stopped by each of them!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Back to School!

Hello, crafty friends! Julie O here from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers with a back-to-school themed project to share with you today.  There's a school themed challenge currently going on over on the 3 Girl JAM Challenge blog, and I decided to get into the spirit of it with this altered notebook.
I started with a basic notebook, and let my creativity take me:

I used ribbon from several 3 Girl JAM bundles on this notebook: Tuxedo Black (from the Celebrations bundle), Sunflower (from the Harvest bundle), and Holly Berry (from the Winter bundle). You also get a sneak peek of some new Flair buttons that will be available in the shop very soon!
Here's a close up of the new Flair buttons, and some of the yummy 3 Girl JAM ribbon I just can't get enough of!

That's it for me. If you want more details, please visit my blog.   Now, off you go to make your own back to school project.  Link it to our 3 Girl JAM Challenge blog.  There's always great prizes to win!

ATC Holders

This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and I have been posting a few ATC's lately.  I wanted to make a holder to carry them in my purse so that I can give them out to people that I come into contact with.  I designed this little holder that I think will be perfect.  I grabbed some 3 Girl JAM Witch's Brew and Baby Boy ribbon and went to work.

I also needed some adhesive and the perfect paper.  The 6X6 pattern pad and the 8X8 paper pad from Graphic 45's "Secret Garden" collection fit the bill exactly.

The patterned paper was cut at 7" wide by 6" tall.  Score lines were placed at 3.5" and then along the bottom at 2".  The lines were folded and the edges were adhered to form a pocket.

As you can see, ATC's fit perfectly inside of the pockets.

If you head over to my blog by clicking here, you can view a step-by-step video tutorial.  You will also see information regarding a giveaway that I am hosting that you will want to join.  Thanks for stopping by and remember to take some time to enjoy the little things today.

You're a SUN-sational friend

Hey everyone, Jovan here today!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Getting ready for back to school...I can't wait for the kids to go back, so I can enjoy the wonderful sounds of August (peace & quiet)!  It's been a long Summer.  I'm looking forward to getting back to my craft room.

Ok, so today I have a pretty Summer card using Summer Sprinkles.  This beautiful crinkle ribbon is apart of the Season's bundle that will be available again in September...YAY!!!! I LOVE this set.
Back to the card, I used an image called Cooling the Breeze 2, from Fine art, by Robert Jackson and colored her with Promarkers.  The sentiment is from C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps.  I added some bling to finish it off.
I just had to do one last Summer card.  I hope you enjoyed!

Summertime Mini Canvas

This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and today's project is full of little things to enjoy - a canvas, kite, chevron, and 3 Girl JAM sun.  I get so busy with life that I forget to enjoy these little things.  How about you?  When was the last time that you reveled in the feel of the sun on your face or watched a kite float through the sky?  If you're like me, it's been too long.

This tiny project was a lot of fun to make, despite being a bit challenging.  I recently participated in a Mini Canvas swap at Art & Sassy.  Though the concept was clear in my head, I had a difficult time translating that to canvas.  It all worked out and I must say that this Sunflower crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM truly finished it off.  It just didn't look right until I made the little sun.

Shrinky Dinks, modeling paste and much more also went into this 2X4 canvas.   Please be sure to head over to my blog by clicking here to see a full product list and a video tutorial.

Don't forget Thursday is the last day for the 3 Girl JAM "Anything Goes with Ribbon" challenge.  Be sure to link up your project and to check back on Friday for a brand new challenge.  In the meantime...

Remember to take some time to enjoy the little things today.
