Coin Wrapper Treat Holder

Don't you just love Fall?  I do!  I love the beautiful colors and the cooler air.  It even seems to smell crisp.  This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and I have a special project to share with you today.  These little treat holders were filled with so many firsts for me.  Of course, what little Fall project would be complete without some of the gorgeous Sunflower ribbon from the Harvest Bundle?  So sit down with a nice cup of coffee and enjoy the essence of Fall wrapped in a little package.

I have never made a sour cream treat container before so this was one "first" for me.  They really are easy.  You just take a cylinder and seal off one end with a strong adhesive.  You then seal the other end going in the other direction.  For this reusable treat container, I just punched 2 holes in the top and tied a bow with the 3GJ Sunflower ribbon. Viola! You have a sour cream container.

This brings me to the next "first".  The cylinder in this case was made using a coin wrapper, specifically a quarter wrapper.  This was not an original idea for me but was a swap.  Isn't that a fun idea?

The final "first" was the stick pin.  No, it's not the first time that I used one.  It was the first time I made one.

I love to make paper crafts, cards, layouts, wood creations, and 

whatever else I can get my crafty hands on!

So for you today I made this Fall Creation. 

I used 3 different colors of the Crinkle Ribbon:

~Merlot & ~London Blue
(together they make the Wine & Jewels Bundle)

~Antique White
(part of the Pink & White Bundle)

I thought they were perfect Fall colors!

Seeing Stars

Hello ALL,  Jessica here.
Today is my day as a Featured Designer

This is the first chance I got

to play with the wonderful

Teresa Collings - Sweet Afternoon 

papers and embellishments.

To begin, I created some fun 

3-D stars using my Tablescapes -Spring and Summer 

Cricut Cartridge.

I used medium grade chipboard 

and cut the stars at 5".

I wanted to get out as much 3 Girl JAM product as possible

to use on this project.

I gathered a few coordinating colors of Crinkle Ribbon

and fun Triple Thick, 12 Strand Twine.
I didn't get to use the twine, like I had planned though :(
Maybe next week :)

Along with a few matching

resins, bling and other embellishments.

Here are the stars after being covered
with the beautiful papers. 

I originally planned to pleat the crinkle ribbon
along the inner corners of each star.  But that proved to be quite
difficult when I tried to use my ATG gun.
So, I improvised by twirling the ribbon
and using some Glue Dots and Zots
to line the inner corners instead.

I used the following colors of 3 Girl JAM Ribbon
Baby Girl Pink
Baby Boy Blue
Antique White
Sunflower Yellow
and
Christmas Candy

Hello all, Jovan here from Cards by Jovan.  Today I have another Breast Cancer Awareness card. This time I used the WONDERFUL baby pink from the baby bundle.  I also used my FABULOUS bow maker...PREFECT bows every time!  

The image is a freebie from Saturated Canary, I colored her with promarkers. The sentiment is from Skipping Stone.
