Altered Mini Journal with Ribbon & Lace

Hi Friends! It's Abby with ScrappinAbby and I am so excited to be sharing another fun project with all of you using some of the yummy 3GJ Crinkle Ribbon and the new Lace Bundles that are now available at the 3GJ Store . This is my first 3GJ post in two months, I've been recovering from hand surgery (both hands) and I was so excited to play with the new yummy laces Julie has created. I used it to decorate the spine in my altered mini journal...

I also have a short video that shows you the journal up close along with the crinkle ribbons and laces I used on the project....

 I love how this gorgeous lace looks against the script on this journal. There are so many uses for the new laces in your craft projects. 

Such a fun project to create. I made this for my "work mom" as she helped with a lot of my tasks at work while I was out on medical leave so I wanted to make something special for her. Using the new laces really added that special touch to this journal and I can't wait to give it to her.

Birthday Tag and Vinyl Cup

Nicole here today to share with you a tag and cup I made/decorated for one of my daughter's friends birthday.  I was able to use the newest crinkle ribbon colors from 3 Girl JAM - the Lemongrass bundle.

I used the "Grey Gray" ribbon from the 3 Girl JAM "Lemongrass" bundle on the tag I made for the gift bag.  The tennis theme is because my daughter's friend loves to play.

I tied some of the Lemon-Lime ribbon  from the 3 Girl JAM "Lemongrass" bundle around the acrylic tumbler I decorated with vinyl for the birthday girl.  For more information on my projects, please head over to my BLOG.

Happy Monday to all of our lovely Fans.  I am happy to share some Sprint Inspiration here at the 3 Girl JAM Blog today!

Today, the temps in Northern Ohio are better than they have been recently.  The snow is almost completely melted and I am anxiously awaiting the first flowers to pop up from below the earth and show us the bountiful colors of Spring.

In the meantime, my hope for Spring Colors led me to create a Spring Themed Tag.

3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon is a fabulous way to had COLOR to your projects.

The March Challenge Theme with 3 Girl JAM is "Yellow, Green and Orange"

and you can see highlights of these colors here in my tag.

is was a perfect way for me to show how much I LOVE HER!!!!

I had a lot of fun using some "mixed media" techniques on this project and you can read all about it at my personal blog if you would like.  I will be working on getting a nice step by step post up today.

I used Goblin Green to tie a nice "tail" at the top of my tag.
