My name is Lynne and I'm the proud grandmother of 6 beautiful grandchildren ranging in ages from 6 yrs to 8 months old!!! I am new to the paper-piecing and paper-crafting as I was a quilter but have found sew many similarities between the two. I'm from Pittsburgh, PA and have lived here my entire life and quite thrilled and honored that I have been asked to be Guest Designer for 3 Girl Jam and thank them for this opportunity!

My project for you today is a 3-d project. I find that I love making these kind of projects and granted, I have threatened never to do another after my 3-d haunted house for Halloween!!! The church is from Winter Wonderland Cricut cartridge. I had a piece of scrap paper to begin my project for the stained glass window. Now to my delight, I have found the inner sanctum of the church is in one piece!!! (YIPPEE!!) The church is from my beloved Immortal Love which I hate to cut into but its purrfect for the sanctuary. The roof, doors, and steeple are all from scrap also! Add a little battery operated light for the inside and it looks beautiful as I was hoping to show with my pictures, but alas, no!

Wednesday Guest Designer Spotlight #4

Today's special Guest Designer is Jessica from Jessica's Craft Shaque!

Hello, Jessica here in the Buckeye State.  I am honored to be joining Julie today as a Guest Designer at 3 Girl JAM and her personal blog, A Little Bit of Bling.   I have always loved the Arts and I am no stranger to paper crafting since it has served as a constant in my life over the last few years.  I enjoy working on creating wreaths, painting pictures, wood crafts, and altering an item into a masterpiece.  Definition of masterpiece ~ anything that can be seen with the eyes, admired, and enjoyed.   I am fortunate enough to have found and fallen madly in love with my soul mate, Lance.  I am also blessed to be able to stay at home with my 5 lovely children whose ages range from 21 months to 16 years old.  I love the color purple, all types of music, and strive to make people smile!  A few of my favorite life mottos are "Laughter is Good Medicine", "No question is a dumb question", and "Don't forget, Karma bites".  So to sum it up, "Live by the Golden Rule, ask lots of questions along the way, while laughing hysterically"!

Hi!  My name is Mackenzie.  I am 10 years old and in 5th Grade.  I live in Iowa (and it's great)!  I love cheese.  I have a twin sister named Avery, 3 cats, a no crafty Dad, and a very crafty Mother.  I play the piano, like to craft, ride my bike, shop at craft stores (but not grocery stores- they're the worst!), and play with my friends.

My First Layout- and New Product Spoiler!

Hi!  This is Julie from A Little Bit of Bling, and owner of 3 Girl JAM.
Today I am sharing my very first Layout- Ever!

I had no idea what I was doing and had no plan when I started.  I just started inking paper and putting things down.  I have to say- I really like how it turned out.

I think I may even frame it and hang it on the wall.

:0)

I used the Teresa Collins Sophisticated Cartridge for the cuts.

The inking was done with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Worn Lipstick, Orange Marmalade, and  Iced Spruce.

All the ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.

You may notice some that is not in the store yet- it is NEW and not quite ready for sale (I'm testing it out- what do you think!?!?)
