Icky Treats

Good Day Everyone!
Rebecca here again sharing a cute and silly treat I've made for Halloween next month!  Super excited to show you this!  Isn't it a hoot?  I wonder if the kids that get this will DARE to eat what's inside!

It's a wonderful Saturday all the way over here in my little corner of the world...even though my vacation is over (SIGH).

BUT on the upside, there is something so much fun about putting together really special one of a kind treats, don't you agree? We don't get many trick or treaters on our street anymore because everyone has grown up...and we live on a cul-de-sac with only a few it's even a real treat for ME when I get to see little kids all dressed up.

So, what do you think?  I just love the pizzazz the wonderful crinkle ribbon added to this treat sack.  And the button is one I got from my pack of vintage buttons!  I painted it with some bronze paint I have used with leafing to give it a little boost.

Oh, and do you see the burlap banner!  I made this from some burlap ribbon....

It's going to be available starting on Oct 1 (just a few more days from now!) and will come in 4" side by 1 yard strips!  You'll definitely want to check it out.

I can't wait to see how the kids react! I'm going to DARE them to eat the treats inside.

If you want more information on the dimensions of the bag and how to make it, I've posted the details on my blog HERE.

Have a wonderful day!

ATC Library Card

Good morning everyone.  This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries.  I am so excited to be showing this project to you today.  I have been wanting a place to store all of my ATC's and this was the perfect answer for me.  I have to admit that it was a pretty simple project.  It didn't take long to make at all.  To start with, I knew that I needed to use my favorite 3 Girl Jam ribbon - Witch's Brew.  (At least it's my favorite today, wink wink).

I really didn't need to come up with special techniques for this.  It was all pretty basic.

I used the following products:
3 Girl Jam Ribbon - Witch's Brew
7 Gypsies ATC Library card box
Prima - flowers and charm
K & CO Paper - I used scraps from my stash.
I really can't wait to keep filling my pretty box.  If you would like to see the video tutorial for this box please click here - DJ's Sundries.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Take some time to enjoy the little things today.

Friendship Tag

Hey's Abby with ScrappinAbby and today I'll be sharing a tag I made for a friend of mine using some of the FAB 3 GJ Tuxedo & Aqua Splash crinkle ribbon.

The Aqua Splash matched perfectly with this piece of scrap CS and paper rosette!!

There are so many different ways to use the crinkle ribbon on the same project. Here I've used it as the tag topper, accent behind the paper rosette and wrapped it around the base of the tag. LOVE this crinkle ribbon & for those of you who don't have any of this amazing ribbon or want the colors I used for your stash...check out the 3GJ store HERE!

Share Your Smile

Happy Tuesday Blends
Jessica here! :O)

Yippee, it is my turn again
to share
a fun project
and how I played with
3 Girl JAM products.

Today I got to make a fun
girly card.
Lots of pinks, chevrons, and fun dress forms.

I used:
Baby Girl Pink  Sterling Silver, and Tuxedo Black

My ribbon flower was created to
fit with the current theme
at the 3 Girl JAM Challenge Blog.
There is still time to link up
so be sure to stop over and get all the details
to play along.

I first cut out a 2" circle.  I started to braid my
three colors of Crinkle Ribbon:
Baby Girl Pink
Tuxedo Black
together and adhered them
to my circle with ATG Adhesive.
I then put Zots on the back of my 2" circle
and began pleating the Baby Girl Pink
to create a soft petal edge to the flower.

I added a single large
Gun Metal Pearl
from Want 2 Scrap
to finish the center.

I hope you enjoy my card
and feel free to stop
to read more details
on how I created this project.

Yummy Treat Box

Good Monday Everyone!
Gloria here from Oma's Crafts and I am so glad to be here with you today. It has been such a busy week around here.  It feels good to have my crafty studio back in order and having some fun again. One of these days I will have to do a video showing my room. It feels much more open now that I removed a lot of stuff and passed it on to freecycle.

Well on to my project. This is a super cute box that can be used for so many things. I used mine for some yummy Hugs and Kisses. The bow was made with some delicious Hot Chocolate crinkle ribbon and the flower is rich, deep Merlot crinkle ribbon topped off with a Vintage Button. I totally love this combination!!
The box was made using a tutorial from Pink by Design and the sentiment is also from Pink by Design.

So now that I have given you some Ribbon Flower inspiration make one of your own and link it up to the current 3 Girl JAM challenge HERE.

Happy Crafting!!

Happy Bird-Day

Hi Everyone!
Rebecca here today, from Seattle!
Why Seattle?  CUZ....that is where I am...I am on VACATION!

That's right, I'm on vacation, but had to stop by and show you a little of what I was up to before I left.

I created this simple and elegant card for my mom's birthday.  I had to get this done before I left and that meant I had to keep it quick, but sophisticated. I don't know why I say I had to make it quick cuz I was going on vacation....It seems that time is speeding ahead at such a pace that I am always two dollars short!
I suspect I'm not alone, yes?

You will notice I used the crinkle ribbon, Sunflower, from the Harvest Bundle.  It is one of my FAVORITE yellows...not too bright, but not dull.  Just right.  And the nice color yellow will ease me right into the autumn season.  So, from here until next Spring, no more light blue flowers and springtime sprigs!

Well, that's it for me.  I'm going on the prowl for Cougars and Bears! Here, kitty kitty!

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Get Well Soon

Good morning 3 Girl JAMmers! Zeni here with a cute card I made for a special little boy named Nathan.  Nathan is battling cancer right now and a good friend of mine was doing a card drive for him.  He loves dinosaurs, so I thought this cute little dino with a London Blue crinkle ribbon bow around his neck would be perfect for him.

Here's a close up below:

You can see all the details on my blog and additional information if you would like to make this little man's day by also sending him a card.

Hope everyone has a beautiful day!

Hello There Handsome

Good Morning everyone.  This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and I have a recycled project for you today.  One of the "little things" that I enjoy doing is taking treats (usually little cheap things) and making them extra special. That's exactly what I did with today's project.  I used the Hot and Cold Bundle from 3 Girl Jam on the tag.  I love the colors in this bundle - especially for masculine projects.

So here is the final project.  Can you guess what the "Recycled" item is?  It's a mushroom container.  My grocery store recently changed their mushroom containers to use these little cardboard boxes.  How fun is that?  I'll be saving them every time I buy mushrooms from now on!

I simply grabbed my paper scraps, some adhesive and my paper trimmer and started cutting and taping away.

Of course any special treat calls for a special tag, right?  That's where the Hot and Cold bundle came in.  I used several Tim Holtz embellishments, some alphabet beads, some twine, and some great papers to make it.  The finishing touch was the title strip from the My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline collection.

You can find more details and a video by visiting me at DJ's Sundries.  Until then, remember to take time to enjoy the little things in life.

It is with great pleasure today,
that I get to announce a sweet friend
and crafty blogger
Candace Zentner
as our Guest Designer
here at 3 Girl JAM.

I am uber excited to share the fun
project Candace has made for her Guest Appearance
here at 3 Girl JAM  using  the
Spooky Bundle Crinkle Ribbon
Hi! Candace here from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses!

I am the stay at home mommy of two little girls (ages 4 & 2), with a baby to arrive in about 8 weeks. I've been crafting since I was a little girl but have really gotten addicted the past 2 years. My favorite things to play with in my craft room are pretty paper, my Cameo and all my stamps! I would love it if you would stop by my blog and say hello!

My Blog: Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses!

I am so excited to be a guest designer today!!! I am a huge fan of 3 Girl Jam products and love to share my projects with the rest of you (who I know are also big fans!). My favorite types of projects to make are layouts and that's what I have to show you today!!

I folded the ribbon in loops and adhered it in the middle using some ZipDry glue to hold it all together. Then I used my 3 Girl JAM bow maker to make some tiny green bows and added them under the flowers to look like leaves. Final touch was a couple buttons in the middle!

So happy you decided to stop here today for some inspiration! Make sure you come back again soon to see more great projects!

Tags in Bags

Hey's Abby with ScrappinAbby and today I will be sharing another fun project with you using some FAB 3 Girl Jam products. I'm calling these scrappy creations, "Tags In Bags".

I created these tags from various CS scraps I had in my stash and I altered some mini bags I picked up from the hardware store.

In addition to using some of the yummy crinkle ribbon, I also used some of the beautiful vintage buttons from 3GJ. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love vintage items & using them in my projects..these buttons are just awesome & I can't wait to use more of them on future projects.

Here's a sneak peek at the tags I made for each bag.
And another quick peek at some of the canvas border strips from 3GJ.

To see more photos of this project & some details on how I altered each bag and a complete supply list...come check out my blog ScrappinAbby

Thanks for letting me share my project with you today...I wanted to showcase the many ways you can use the FAB products from 3 Girl Jam, crinkle ribbon, vintage buttons and the canvas border strips.

Happy Scrappin!!
